Show your bag some ❤️ . Mending and repairing is a big part of my approach to design, making and life in general, both from a sustainablity viewpoint and that it’s a fun problem to solve . So I’m so so (sew sew?) happy my friend @erinlewisfitzgerald has written and published this really amazing book 📖 . I took part in her visible mending workshop last year and learnt so much . As part of the book launching she’ll be holding a public mend-a-thon out the front of @readingsbooks Lygon St tonight from 5pm . I’ll be there helping from about 6pm so if you’ve a bag in need of some love pop in and I’ll have a look at it for you 🧐 .
