I work quietly, behind the scenes—turning abstract ideas into physical form. It’s slow work. Obsessive. Satisfying. Sometimes frustrating. But always, always worth it.

I do this as part of a creative team at Crystal Corporation LLC here in the UAE, but this space? This space is mine.

I could carry on working on this piece forever but I fear I may carve away the spirit of the piece so I’ve decided to call it finished. I’ve also settled on the name ‘Chrysalis’ to reflect on struggle being a step on the path to change and to freedom. I have loved the process carving her and, though I will forever see the flaws in my work, it has been an incredible learning experience.
