The Creators note from the Art Book states:

"One of my favorite design proposals is the spacesuit in the upper right corner of P.060, but I was told, "If you go up to space, the Bio series will end, so please stop," and I was stopped (lol). Also, the one with the boyish orange shorts in the center was popular in the development team's survey, but I'm glad it wasn't chosen."

As for his statement on the jumpsuit one that was chosen:

"I submitted so many ideas, but they were rejected so quickly that I ended up drawing my favorite motorcycle, and finally, it was approved. Because it took the longest time to decide, I have a strong impression that I'm just glad it was decided (lol)."
