3:28 PM Sunday 11.22.20 Day 2/?

Here I am again, watching database lectures. Friday I finished my database and capstone assignments and then had a night in with my roommates. Saturday I slept a lot and had an overall chill day. So now, I need to watch a bunch of genetics lectures and compile the homework assignments for this unit to reference for the exam Monday. Problem is I already know it’ll be dropped based on my previous midterms so motivation is at an all time low.

12:49 AM Wednesday 11.19.20 Day 1/?

Not pretending like I’ll get to 100 this time, but I do like being able to look back on even these brief snippets of semesters. Today, I zoomed into the freshman class I peer mentor for and a bunch of meetings for a club I’m on the executive board for. I’m also three lectures into the four I need to watch to do my database homework tomorrow. After going home over the weekend, I’ve been very much struggling to be productive, but I’m optimistic I’ll be able to watch the last one and get the problems done by midnight tomorrow night, or tonight really.

11:39 AM Monday 04.06.20 Day 1/100

Here we go round 7 of me trying to keep myself accountable. I’ve been working from home for about four weeks now and I think I just need to generally track how I’m spending my days in these times of quarantine. So far, it’s been basically work, baking, and nonsense phone games. This weekend I made focaccia, which was very delicious, and started a sourdough starter, so we’ll see how that works. For work today, I need to send a bunch of emails out, and then check in with my manager about what else I can do. I’ve already sent a couple and finished the slide I needed to, as well as attend a meeting.

12:21 PM Wednesday 09.19.18 Day 10/100

I keep managing to put together a draft with the pictures, and then forgetting to write the text and post them on the actual day.  Yesterday was pretty productive.  I had my fundies lab in the morning and then finished my portion of the group proposal for transport lab.  We then met as a group to make sure we were under the word count and all of the sections aligned.  After the meeting, I spent like an hour and half formatting all of our references into IEEE and then turned in the assignment.  I also started on my peer reviews for English, which are due today and started working on my fundies homework due on Thursday.

12:48 PM Tuesday 09.18.18 Day 9/100

Here I am remembering how bad I am at actually posting these.  I got up really early yesterday morning to write my English paper and do laundry, then had a full day of classes.  When I finished, I roasted a whole bunch of vegetables for dinners this week and did my fundies homework.  I then met one of my friends to work on engineering problem sets; we ended up finishing thermo and getting through two transport problems.  When I got back home, I folded all my laundry and then started working on my sections of the  transport lab group proposal.

11:34 PM Saturday 09.15.18 Day 8/100

Thursday and Friday I spent in class or working and then slept pretty early, so there are no posts from those days.  Today, I spent working on my group transport lab proposal and I’ve started to write the code for my fundies homework.  Tomorrow will definitely be busy, but I’ve enjoyed the downtime I gave myself today.

4:04 AM Thursday 09.13.2018 Day 7/100

I found an article to do my rhetorical analysis on for English and spent a bunch of time in class.  I then spent all of this evening doing a transport problem set for tomorrow.  It’s unnecessarily late, but everything is now set for tomorrow.  Thank goodness the week is almost over.

I completed and turned in my lab training yesterday and, although it took far longer to complete than it should have, wrote my research proposal for transport lab, finishing a little before it was due this morning.

1:36 PM Tuesday 09.11.2018 Day 5/100

I finally came up with a topic for this semester of English, and my professor approved it in class, so that should be all set.  I also started to brainstorm for my transport lab topic, since that has to have to do with fluids, but came up with exactly nothing.  Back to the drawing board today, hopefully I’ll be able to come up with something.

2:46 AM Monday 09.10.2018 Day 4/100

Spent a large chunk of the day at the MFA with my roommate, since it was finally pleasant enough to want to go outside to get there and we haven’t gotten to hang out much since school started. Did some more research but still need to do more, as I haven’t found anything I’m super passionate about yet. I’ll do it tomorrow morning and between classes, since it’s the kind of thing that won’t be done until I walk into English class.

2:21 AM Sunday 09.09.2018 Day 3/100

Most of my productivity today came in the form of exercise.  My mom came to visit me and we walked almost 10 miles today.  When we got back to her car, one of the tires was flat, so I also learned how to change a tire.  I’ve done a little bit of research to find a current chemical engineering problem for English and transport lab, since I haven’t been tired, but it’s now time for me to go to bed.  Even though I don’t have much due next week, tomorrow (today?) will be much more academically focused.

10:30 PM Friday 09.07.2018 Day 2/100

I actually ended up doing a bit more work last night so my fundies homework is now done.  I had a busy day with work, training to be a peer mentor, and a lab, so I didn’t get very much homework done.  After spending the evening with friends, I read through some fundies class notes while waiting for the EHS website with the training I need to complete to load.  I’m going to have a fairly early night tonight and start work tomorrow morning.

9:47 PM Thursday 09.06.2018 Day 1/100

After working from January to June, and then a very quick 6 week blitz through Thermodynamics 1 and Organic Chemistry 2 (plus lab) during summer classes, I’m back starting up the fall semester.  Classes started yesterday, so most of what I’ve done so far has been put everything from various syllabus into my planner and completing some required training for my transport principles lab.  Quite unusual for me, I actually started some of my computer science (Fundies) homework that’s not due for another week tonight, so maybe this is the beginning of my turning over a new academic leaf.  If so, I’d love to document it here and hopefully finally make it to day 100.  It’s only day two, so we’ll see as the semester progresses, but here’s hoping for year three!

6:13 PM 09.15.2017 Day 5/100 I had my first orgo lab of this semester this morning at 8. I was able to finish an hour and a half early so I met my roommate at a cafe near our apartment where I had both breakfast and lunch and worked on my orgo homework until 3:30. Then I went to a meeting for the lab I work in, but ended up leaving early because I'm feeling pretty sick. I'm probably going to have a early night tonight and hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.

5:44 PM 09.15.2017 Day 4/100 (Kinda collapsed after a very long day yesterday, so here's the update from last night) Woke up really early yesterday morning to do physics homework that was due at 8 am. I then spent most of my day in classes. Last night, I did some orgo problems and then did the readings for my orgo lab this morning. A very busy and long, but productive, day.

10:10 PM 13.09.2017 Day 3/100 Spent a bunch of time in class today and met with my advisor to make some changes to my resume. I made a fairly involved dinner and went to a club meeting in the evening and am now going to bed really early because I’m going to get up at 4AM to go to the library and work on my physics problems due at 8AM.

1:29 AM 13.09.2017 Day 2/100 I didn’t do very much this weekend. Woke up Saturday with a scratchy throat indicating impending sickness, so I slept a lot and consumed more Vitamin C than is probably healthy. I took some notes for psychology and did a couple of physics problems, but the only really productive thing I did was go home Sunday to do some shopping for food and kitchen stuff. Monday, I just tweaked my resume a little and did a physics pre-lab before going to bed early. Today, or rather yesterday at this point, I was actually rather productive. I participated in psychology research for an hour (I need 6 hours to get credit for the course) completed my problems for Conservation Principles, and did a pretty thorough rework of my resume since I meet with my advisor today to go over it. Sleep pattern has been really weird lately, I napped for almost 4 hours this afternoon, so I’m not really tired, but I think my productivity for the evening has come to an end.
