hi i’m eryn, i’m a disabled black artist and selfshipper (they/them)

due to recent fandom climate i’ve decided that my blog is for nobody but me, everyone else can watch me yearn, i enjoy some dark themes/romance (i also use these for self expression through venting) so there may also be violence, blood, etc but i’ll try tagging these things

please remember above all, i am black first, if you prefer to ignore black history/issues/etc then please do not follow me

unfortunately i can't keep up with making art regularly due to my disabilities but i’m steadily learning to navigate

i encourage you to browse my blog a bit before following but ofc do what ya want

i really enjoy vampire horror anime, hoyoverse games (hsr/genshin), and other medieval or dark fantasy, but i also enjoy cutesy girly stuff!

i’m not living in the safest of places, i’m currently in the long tedious process of moving out, so please bare with me as i navigate my difficult situation (alongside my disabilities)

I know this is a deeply American thing to say but I am begging everyone to stay the fuck away from military recruiters. Especially high school kids. You are going to be seeing an unholy amount of them in schools or around schools or literally anywhere kids are known to congregate. THIS INCLUDES ALL FORMS OF ROTC. Stay the fuck away from military recruiters. As someone who’s familiar with entirely too many branches through entirely too many friends and family, including my partner, recruiters are authorized to say literally any fucking thing they think will make you sign on that line. They cannot and will not deliver on those promises. They need bodies for the war they’re pretending is only now starting up again. That’s all you are. A body. Stay the FUCK away from the military.

there seems to be just a huge niche of people online that really need/would greatly benefit from the framework of plurality but are afraid to claim it. which i understand because me too i doubt it for myself a lot. but i think there are a lot of us who don't really meet the criteria for DID or OSDD yet would still benefit from viewing ourselves as actually multiple selves. and perhaps a substantial number of us will later find out they meet the criteria for a diagnosis about it but i think we need to be less caught up on "do i meet this criteria" and instead focus on "what will be helpful to me". which may include resources for people with DID/OSDD, or may not.
