I think I might come back on here.
I need a hobby.
“Hiya there, Swadloon!” the redhead gleamed as she stretched out before falling down into a squatting position and began to pet the Pokémon. She looked between the Pokémon and Trainer and inwardly cursed herself for not having a camera at the ready. They looked so alike today – matching expressions galore! (Was there ever a moment when that was never true?)
She pouts in a huff before pointing at herself with her thumb, “hey who do you think the Prof left in charge of these Pokéballs of yours! She left a package in case you arrived early. But if you’re going to keep being a numbskull then I won’t tell you where they are.”
Swadloon kept the grimace on her face, although she was having a good time causing Beau trouble. For as much as he was aloof to his Pokemon, as soon as one of them went to interact with someone else his mood would sour more than usual. Almost like if he couldn’t be happy no one else could. “Loon...” She sidled closer to Nika, practically sitting on her foot.
“The day is getting even better.” Beau’s eyes narrowed at Swadloon before his eyes went back up to the assistant. “Is there ever a time you’re not exasperating to speak with? I’ll take the pokeballs and be out of your hair, carrot top.” More like he’d be able to get away.
Whenever Lise sees a young male trainer she’s always reminded of her grandson. She took the position at the Laboratory under Professor Juniper’s supervision to keep herself busy – but she was constantly thinking of him. So when this boy came in, looking grumpy and unsatisfied that he couldn’t get the opportunity to see the Professor as she was visiting Fennel at Castelia City that day she knew that perhaps she could get him to cheer up a bit. At least until the Professor came back. Beau seemed adamant that he was going to be spending the whole day there at the Laboratory until Juniper set foot back into the building. “You know,” she nodded as she looked towards the Swadloon, “you might get a much more successful response if you attempt something with a bit of a flavor kick. Contrary to popular belief it takes more than treats to help a Pokémon become strong and healthy. A healthy diet of food and treats, like your Pokéblocks there, is exactly what you need.”
“It might help your Swadloon perk up a bit too – get a bit of shine on those leaves. Why don’t see if we can whip something up together, what do you say?” { @maverickprince is getting a starer with Lise. }
Beau sat with his familiar scowl on his face. He didn’t even have a book open to keep himself occupied. He had no numbers on his xtransceiver that he’d bother calling to pass the time. Beau sat and watched his Swadloon roll on the floor, back and forth to pass her time outside the pokeball.
There was so much more he could probably do for his team. So many questions to answer. He had was becoming very successful at helping out trainers and giving advice on breeding for abilities or moves, but he found it no surprise that trainers would spin the tale of his complete indifference to any of the Pokemon’s personalities or happiness. Beau listened to the woman, and Swadloon stopped rolling around to eye her suspiciously. What was she planning on feeding her? Beau mirrored Swadloon’s thoughts.
“...She is quite perky already.” Beau could barely find the energy most of the time to keep up with her attitude.
“But I guess her leaves could use a shine.” If he wanted his clients to trust him, he’d have to put more effort into his own Pokemon. “What do you suggest from your professional view?” He would not voluntarily say he had just crumbs in his Pokeblock case.
It wasn’t so much that he disliked the human race, it was that Beau had found nothing useful about them. Beau couldn’t even say he preferred animals more than humans, because he didn’t very much like the ones with fur. The ones with scales though were a different matter.
He saw a woman looking at an anole that was crawling around. It might have been his arrogance, or the fact that he just wanted everyone to appreciate reptiles more, he quietly approached the two of them.
“Anoles can change their color, but are more closely related to iguanas.”
Not even a hello or anything.
“Well if it isn’t Beaudloon,” she looks around quickly whilst running a hand through her short red locks, “where’s your grumpy friend then?” She almost isn’t used to seeing one of Juniper’s students without his little grass/bug companion.
No loss, really. So Nika shrugs her shoulders and lets her arms swing by her sides. “She’s away to see Nurse Joy a town over, shame – you just missed her. Something we can help y’with, Beauy?”
As if the nickname given to Beau was a summoning, Swadloon beamed out of the pokeball in Beau’s bag. She yawned loudly, before glaring up at Beau. After he returned the cold stare, Swadloon waddled over to Nika to bump her feet.
“Thanks for that. No really.” Beau sighed as his Pokemon made it clear that she was interested in spending the day here instead of on the road again with him. “She told me she had some special pokeballs or something for me to pick up. Doubt you know what I’m talking about.”
Every time he arrived and Beau could not instantly find Professor Juniper, he should just turn right around and leave. The young man was a apparently a sucker for punishment, and still managed to find one of the most annoying assistants.
“Where’s Juniper?” Blunt, to the point. He hoped to end the conversation as soon as it started.
guess who found this blog again.

Judging Beau stealing her berries.
------ Does not apologize for her insolent trainer.
“And I hope you intend on actually using them for beneficial reasons,” The Professor looks towards her student. It has been some time since Beau came to the Lab, she just hopes that it was for more than just stealing her berries. “Like for your Pokemon.”
He purposefully picks a few more berries while looking directly at her. “They eat what I make them. Berries are for superficial things like contests.” To be more rebellious towards her, he grabs a berry without looking and pops it right into his mouth. Unfortunately for Beau it is a Leppa Berry and it is sour, but he manages to keep his face mostly straight.
Gleefully stealing the berries outside of Professor Juniper’s home.
screams i remembered the password for my childdddd
Looking at the computer screen she let out a small sigh.
Aurea Juniper was always excited and happy to hear from all of the trainers that she had sent on their journeys. But, this particular trainer could be pretty hard work. Good thing she didn’t judge a book by its cover – deep down Beau felt like he was doing the right thing – Aurea just hadn’t seemed to… crack… through that shell yet to see what that good thing was. Pressing down the buttons onto the keyboard, the screen popped up and there was a fancy sight. The unimpressed view of her ‘student’ of sorts, and his Dodrio hovering the background. It wasn’t the first time the two-headed pokemon had attempted to get in the way of their conversations, in fact, the sight made the brunette smile. “What a happy,” there was a slight amount of hesitation in the professor’s voice. Just what was Beau going to throw her way this time? “surprise! It’s been a long time since you called, Beau. I was beginning to worry. Is there something I can do for you?”
Oh she finally answered and the difference in reaction between the Pokemon and the human were clear. The Dodrio’s heads made a happy chirp while Beau’s face stayed the same. In fact he found it weird when his Dodrio made noises like that... probably because it was so rare for him to hear.
One time he had dismounted the bird and patted only one of the heads which only caused them to fight each other instead. No, there are no happy chirps for Beau.
“The Day Care couple is giving me trouble again.”
No “hello, I was worried about you.” No explanation of why he hadn’t called.
“I need you to drop off a couple of Pokemon for me.”
Beau looked down at his Xtransceiver and waited for the Professor to pick up. If Beau thought about others, he would marvel at the fact that Professor Juniper still picked up after all that he put her through on a regular basis.
Instead he just wondering what she could possibly be doing that was taking so long. Not that she ever did any work or anything.
His Dodrio looked over his shoulder, anxious to get a glimpse at the woman who was a lot more friendly than Beau was ever. Beau ignored the Pokemon as she wavered over his shoulder, not confident enough to rest a head on his shoulder.
A happy sight for Professor Juniper whenever she decided to answer.
