The Forging of the Orphic Hammer

I just got this absolutely incredible comm from the supremely talented @ziorre. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. It looks like it came straight out of an artbook! I highly encourage you to click on the images and see them full size to really appreciate the details and work they put into this masterpiece.

I headcanon that Raphael forged the hammer himself, after harnessing an infernal workforce to gather the raw materials - who else could he trust to create such a valuable artefact, afterall? I'd wanted art depicting such a scene for some time, and when I saw Ziorre's work I knew they were the right person to do it! It's absolutely exquisite, and I couldn't be happier with it.

I was so disappointed when Larian dropped Patch 7 with its new evil endings, but no Raphael dinner included, so I vowed to make up for it with a dinner of my own. I was all set to color and shade, but things didn’t quite go as planned, and I had to take a little break. I picked it up again a few days ago, and here it is—finally finished.
