Idea mostly comes from her relationship with the Pequod and how lots of her IDs leave her fending for herself even when she's accociated with a group (Shi?, Kirashmael, Xichunmael), just generally being the odd one in the group...? Also her initial character pv, it seems she was originally gonna have a different voice direction, it was much...softer? than the current edge she has now

And for a sillier reason, these scenes just haunt me everytime

Oh.. I love the parallel between Callisto and Matthias in the intervallo

(spoilers n tw gore/violence duh)

Callisto is shown as the most supportive Nursefather, letting tiny Ryoshu to go to school. But then when she gets bullied, Matthias being a Big Bro, goes out of his way for vengeance

And Callisto is not happy about this, calling Matthias the 'senseless/barbaric' one

This shows Callisto in a 'positive' light until Ryoshu mentions that the next day he presented a 'snowman' made out of the murdered classmates' head. It further reinforces that Callisto is just as bad at considering Ryoshu's feelings in the matter when he shows his art in front of Araya, obviously terrified by it.

Matthias and Callisto are both the type of person who only care about their ideologies and themselves, their 'love' being conditional, something that only comes when it benefits them.

Kira had a hard time spending time with Matthias bcuz all he cared about was his own favourite retro toys and stuffs. For someone who's in a gang whos motto is 'they never forget', he seems not to care about anything that doesn't interest him. (Matthias!Outis buying the wrong magazines in Kira!Ishmael ID story)

Callisto failed to stick to his valuables as an artist: "art is subjective, and shouldn't be forced onto others". Yet, he is enforcing his art onto others to prove his art still stands even after he made his magnum opus 'Tibia'. He's a dilemma of 'does it worth continue to create when you've already hit the highest point in your career?'. He's no longer creating art for himself but chasing after validation, and Hohenheim clocks him fast that his art has 'no soul'.

Edit: HongLu ID mentions his view for Corpotism is to unite. He's clearly having a really bad job with it lol

I feel like the story was less of a 'they turned into kids' and more of a 'Dante tried to imagine them as kids' which is how we got kid Meursault without any voice change bcuz Dante just can't imagine it 😭

It's also in some way a surface level view of how Dante sees the Sinners (if as kids at least)?

Probably most interesting are emotional Gregor, and Don Quixote with the most no-inbetween scale between Fixer Donqui and Sancho, only extremes. Faust, Outis, and Meur stay very mature because they were never shown their weak side (except kinda Faust), Heathcliff is literally just a brat.

Hong Lu and Ryoshu hold real weapons unlike the rest of the Sinnerlings bcuz they were adapt with them since a young age. Hong Lu still has the jade eye bcuz Dante never saw a Hong Lu without it, it's basically part of his whole identity

It's kinda proven with how Dante tries to find explanations from their memories from their past experiences but is confused by the concept of being familiar with said words in the first place. It is confirmed it was another silly dream sequence they had after all 😭 it was all Dante and their uncreative ass
