I've read a few D4 fan stories. I wrote some myself.^^ But somehow, when I first read this story about Jyobu, it gave me pause and I felt truly inspired to draw that one scene in the story.
I like to remember that D4 are actually, a group of hardened criminals that survive around the fringes of society.^^
I've always made comics way back when I was 10. And carried on making independent ones up to my 20s, worked on storyboards for an animation company for a short while, and worked in a publishing company in my 30s. I dreamt of being a mangaka, but found I enjoyed being a doujinshi artist.^^
I'm still learning to do it digitally, but I found myself being a little faster now.^^ I'm glad to find (and think up) stories that I can illustrate and plan.✨💙✨
