Meet Pinkleton! It's my diety in a new tabletop game I've joined called First Light. You roll for attributes that create a diety that you then play to try and build the world to their whim. So far the other dieties and Pinkleton (a genderless childlike avian elemental fae who is somehow neutral evil) are the best/worst Frennemies... An interesting read for those who use social media as a platform. It's not an answer, but awareness is always a start.
I just redecorated my title block, so I guess I should post the artwork I used for it. Painted this a few years ago at Christmas for my sister. It’s acrylic mixed media. 22”x30” (I think) This picture does not do justice to the building details, but I dont have the CD with me to post closeups.
So I might periodically hop back on here now and again. Mostly to follow an art group/challenge I want to participate in (once I get a working PC) Uploaded this as my cover so felt like sharing.
Depression is wanting to get out of bed because you’re hungry, you have to go to the bathroom, and you don’t want to waste yet another day, but you can’t. You just lie there anyway, possibly for hours. It’s like having a paralyzed leg. You can tell it to move all you want, but it won’t unless you grab it with your hands, wrench it in the direction you want to go, and scream. Except it’s your whole body and you know there’s nothing physically stopping you from moving so you just feel like a failure.
In the hour and a half I’ve been awake, I’ve managed to finally sit up in bed. I hope when I’m done writing this I will get off the bed and get dressed.
As a warm up I redrew one of the first gundam wing things I did from a few years ago.
I guess its just a duo kinda night.

why would you ever idolize cops when firefighters exist
yeah seriously have you ever heard of “corrupt firefighter”
what would a ‘corrupt firefighter’ even be. he put out that fire with a little TOO much water. he was a little rough with the cat he rescued from a tree for a little old lady
Actually, I have heard stories of corrupt firefighters. They loot your place after they put the fire out.
But I mean, between losing your TV to an underpaid firefighter and losing your LIFE to a cop who won’t even be punished for it, I can see why no one pays attention to the bad firefighters.
It was actually a NYC PD that found out that NYC Firefighters were looting the underground mall after the immediate disaster of 9-11 while there were still people trapped underground. It was something of a fiasco. My friend's father was that cop.
Of course this doesn't mean all cops are good and all firefighters are bad, just proves that wide-reaching stereotypes help none.
