The difference between kink and ideology

Everyone has kinks and that's great but a lot of people tend to forget that our kinks do not reflect our actual views. Take me for example, I have a misogyny kink but do I actually believe in misogyny? No way, I'm a feminist that goes to protests and used to work for a charity. Quick update
