Request from @lau-reads - I just saw a video on instagram where there was a couple shopping for makeup and the boyfriend lets his girlfriend test the lipsticks on his hands and I thought it could be a cute idea with lando if you ever feel like writing something full on fluffy
Kind of short, just wasn't sure what more I could do with it but I hope it's ok

Lando really doesn't know the first thing about make up. The extent of his knowledge is that lipstick goes on the lips. If you want knowledge beyond that, you're best asking someone else.
"I just need to grab a couple things." Y/n murmurs pulling Lando to the make up section.
She tosses a couple things into the basket that Lando is holding as they've shopped around. He's not really got much but y/n has called this a "restock" day meaning that everything she deems she doesn't have enough of or has ran out of is not being purchased.
"Ooohh...Lipsticks." Y/n murmurs pulling him with her as they stroll through the aisles.
She frowns looking at the selection before huffing as if she's frustrated.
"What's wrong?" Lando questions looking up from his phone where he'd been focused while she was looking at the different colours.
"It's just-I want to swatch the colours." Y/n pouts then smiling shyly at Lando who narrows his eyes on her. "Can I use you hands? Pretty please?"
"You want to put lipstick on my hand?" He questions making her pout and nod, batting her eyelashes at him. "Ok."
"Ah thank you!" Y/n squeaks kissing his cheek before taking the basket from him and placing it on the floor at their feet.
It takes a couple swatches for him to not grimace at the feeling of lipstick being wiped onto his skin.
He actually ends up focusing on his phone as she tries to find spare patches of skin to swatch. He even almost finds it pretty soothing.
"Baby, which one do you like best?" Y/n asks suddenly grabbing his attention from his screen and looking at his can which has about 10 swatches of various shades of pink and red, one or two nudes.
"Uhh...which one do I like?" Lando echoes then frowning. "You have to wear it, it should be which one you like best."
"Yeah, but I kiss you...sometimes you have to wear it too." Y/n smiles shyly making him actually break into a grin.
"That's true. Ok. I like...this one." He states pointing at a fairly soft pink. "It's the same colour as your lips."
"You want me to choose the colour that matches my lips." Y/n laughs, really she should've predicted that would be the case. Lando insists that he loves he with and without make up, but he also just loves her for her naturally gifted features.
"I like the colour of your lips." Lando mumbles then pointing to another colour that's more of a mauve. "That one's nice too."
"I can get both, but I think I'll go with your first choice." Y/n smiles leaning in and kissing him. "Now, lets' see if they have any wipes for your hand."
"We can get all the lipsticks." Lando tries looking almost like he feels bad for picking a favourite even though that's literally what she asked of him.
"No, you picked your favourite. So I'm getting that one." Y/n smiles as she picks up the chosen lipstick and moving with him to find a store assistant for a wipe and to buy everything.

It's not for a couple days that y/n dresses herself up and has make up on that does Lando get to see his pick of lipstick in action. It's actually almost a perfect match to her natural lips.
"You look so pretty." Lando states as she finishes checking herself in the mirror and finds Lando stood watching her in the reflection.
Immediately she gets flustered enough to force her gaze away.
"Can I have a kiss?" Lando asks softly as she stands up.
"Always." Y/n smiles then kissing him but he only gets a peck before she grabs his face, turning it and placing a kiss on his cheekbone.
"I'm not wiping that off." Lando grins earning a laugh before she giggles still trying to wipe it only for him to catch her wrist. "Ah, no. I want to keep it there."
"You're going to the paddock, you can't wear a lipstick stain-"
"I can and will." Lando laughs then stealing a kiss from her again. "Let's go."
