Before leaving for Clark yesterday, we had dinner at Nadai Fujisoba. He ordered Aka Fujisoba while I had their Ebi Ten Mori Soba. We also ordered a Small Gyudon Bowl (yes that little one in the middle). Two friends recommended it while my brother vouched for it too. And we didn't regret saying yes! We only spent 600 for both and we didn't feel that bloated feeling when you eat ramen. The portions were just right and the staff were attentive. They give cold tea instead of water too. Will I go back? YES! Nadai Fujisoba is located at the Ground Flr. Bldg. A, SM Megamall.

Poke ball 175php from @ahihawaiiph Salmon and Tuna sashimi with melons, cucumbers, cabbages, and different dressings. It's an adventurous bowl of Hawaii according to @dumoves who researched it before taking me there. It's really good but I find the dressings too much. Though according to Arvin, that's how it really is. They also have Malasadas, doughnut like desserts that are soooooo good. They come in Pineapple and Lemon based doughs. Would I recommend you to be an adventurer? YES! Ahi Hawaii is located near Rodic's Maginhawa (at Ahi Hawaii)

Tatsuo's Quail Egg and Asparagus wrapped in Bacon. Is sooo good and affordable too. They sell it per stick and sticks cna range from 30-120php. It was flavorful and wasn't salty at all. The salty taste would come from their sauce. Tatsuo is located along Tomas Morato right beside RYU.

Creme Brulee Sampler at 180php. Durian, Original and Banana Stop. The durian was great. I don't like durian but I have eaten durian since pops and brother enjoy it. So after tasting the sampler I knew why they chose Durian. Durian fruit is naturally creamy so having it as a creme brulee was perfect. They were able to make it anti-durian friendly and the sweetness was just right. I didn't enjoy the banana. I felt like I needed Ice cream with it. Hahaha. But yes it seems that banana, for me, should stay with fondue, sundaes and loafs. The original is what it is. (at Planet Grapes Edsa Shangri-La)

Planet Grapes' wines of awesome happiness and apparently they're the sister companu of Wine Story. I cannot tell you how difficult it is to contain my excitement regarding this place. As much as it is expensive to buy wine by the glass (Papa is also a wine sommelier so we have an abundant supply and Papa educates us when he gets a chance), @dumoves and I love looking for new wine places with new wines not found easily in the market. Planet Grapes offers a wode range of wines AND also serves different wines by the glass that changes every three (3) weeks. They sell sip, half glass and full glass for those who want to try. Their motto "Wine Without The Drama" lives up through it's choice of wines. Their wines can be paired with any of the food that they serve. Imagine, I had white with beef! My Papa would have raised his brow at me. But I enjoyed it. The place was great for begginers and our server, Jason, was informative. They mostly sell new world wines and only have two old world wines. Would I want you to try this? YES! How much would you spend? 1k for two is good already. No really I'm not kidding. They don't hard sell you to get the priciest wine because they cater to beginners. (at Planet Grapes Edsa Shangri-La)

Planet Grapes' Beef Tapa with Chorizo and Salted Egg Rice and Sunny Side Up Egg for Php375.00 One of the best tapa I have eaten. The waitress actually wanted me to get garlic rice but good thing I chose not to. Hahaha! The beef was cooked to perfection and the rice was a great compliment to the tapa. Wishbone's Mr. Krabs for 299php and 8pcs Salted Egg w/ rice and iced tea for 125php (it's a promo) Recommended by a friend, @dumoves and I had it for dinner. Arvin enjoyed everything while I was torn. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my experience but I felt like the food was lacking something. I also think i needed getting used to these kinds of flavors since I am used to the sour flavor. If you want something old but with a twist do drop by Wishbone along East Capitol Drive. Finally done with the Maginhawa posts and the BF post. Let's go back to Ortigas/Mandaluyong area. I am now very much excited

Nook's Bacon wrapped Chicken with Honey Dip for Php140.00 Harry Butterbeer (not in Photo) Php100.00 Been hearing about them but I've never been able to try since it would always be full. Finally got to try them out when my boss and I were looking for a place we could work in. And I recommended Nook. I ordered their butterbeer just to try it out. It was like eating lots of caramel butter balls. It was good but personally, I wouldn't have it again. I found it too sweet and too rich and I believe it's because of my diet. Their bacon chicken was good but I found it oily for my taste. But how can you go wrong with bacon. Would I go back? No because their menu makes my tummy topsy turvy. Would I recommend you to try it? Depends if you're into the rich type of meals. And if you are do go at around 2pm during weekdays since they really get packed. Nook is located along Maginhawa going towards Sikatuna. Kazoku's Chirashi for Php380.00. For someone who originally comes from Ortigas, it's always a challenge for me to find great, quality food in Maginhawa (you can hate me all you want but this is my opinion). Recommended by @thesunmanager, I knew I could trust her judgement when it came to food. So I invited @dumoves to try it with me. I originally wanted to order their Uni Don (it's sea urchin over Japanese Rice). Sadly, the last order just went to a different customer. Arvin was hesitant to order Chirashi since they didn't have Uni. Good thing our server informed us that we could have it exchanged with any of their raw ingredients. I immediately told her to use mackerel as a replacement. As we would wait, the resto would show Japanese travel food shows, kiddie shows and Animé. They also have house tea that you don't have to pay for and can have it cold. Once our meals arrived, we couldn't help but notice how fresh the ingredients were and how generous the slices were. We devoured our meal immediately, leaving no grain of rice. Arvin can't accept that, despite being good, there's a restaurant that seems expensive for Maginhawa. Me? I am excited that there's a restaurant that defies the standards of Maginhawa when it comes to food. Kazoku is located along the old Tomato Kick Bldg. (at Kazoku Japanese Restaurant)

Ramen Kuroda's Gyoza and Ramen Set Meal for Php380.00. It has Gyoza, Rice, Ramen, Sweet Potatoes and Salad. @dumoves and I were surprised when we were served with such a big meal. We asked ourselves how one person could finish this but good thing we decided sharing it before ordering another set meal. We enjoyed how the ramen wasn't too rich. We also were informed that we had a free noodle refill. We both enjoyed the gyoza's flavor since it wasn't too oily. As always I finished the sweet potatoes and the salad while Arvin enjoyed his ramen (this is a big deal since he rarely raves about ramen). Here's Spice and Cleaver's Chocolate Roca. It's not sweet huhuhuhu. So good.

Spice and Cleaver's Lamb Sausage with Sauerkraut and Virgin Mashed Potatoes for 280php and 500mL Wheat German Beer for 250php. Spice and Cleaver was one of the restaurants in Estancia that I was very hesitant to try due to my diet. I've been avoiding oily meals since it messes up my body. But this sausage place was tummy friendly. Arvin had the Lamb while I had Kielbasa. Their sausages weren't salty. The Sauerkraut wasn't drenched in vinegar and their potatoes were not starchy. Service was quick and attentive. How? I had a tall glass of Tequila Sunrise and as the contents were going down, the straw sank too. Their waiter immediately changed my glass to a shorter one. Didn't expect it but very much appreciated it. So drop by the Lower Ground floor or Estancia and enjoy a one of a kind deli experience. Their dessert is divine too. (at Spice & Cleaver)

Gyoza and Ramen House (thank you Andrew for the introduction). We ordered Mixed Gyoza that had a piece of Original Gyoza, Long Onion Gyoza, Curry, Spicy and one more I forgot the name and all five for just 150php. Their gyoza was really delicious. The curry was an experience on it's own since it was something new but the taste of gyoza and curry just blended perfectly in my mouth. We couldn't believe how affordable it was since it was a mix of their five gyozas. I very much recommend this to those who love gyoza and to those who want to a Japanese place that doesn't just highlight sushi/sashimi, ramen, donburis and tepanyaki. Gyoza and Ramen House is right across 711 Malingap St.
