inside and planet of lana are basically identical to play but on opposite ends in terms of hopefulness of setting, and yet getting the main character killed in the latter felt way more grim, especially because the enemies will move in and murder your little cat companion too
I have a legal question if you don't mind answering those. Scenario is someone, called Person A, is harassing another person, Person B, for 5 or so minutes despite Person B asking them to stop or leave. Person B cannot leave for whatever reason, maybe the'yre at work or stuck on a train with Person A. Do you think a jury would acquit Person B for punching Person A eventually?
i'm not super familiar with US law, so i can really only fabulate and i don't think that's very helpful, but sure. there are firstly differences between states that could be important (like if it's a stand your ground state or not), but discounting the general possibility of acquittal for insufficient evidence, i would guess it depends on the nature of the harassment.
to my understanding, assault doesn't require physical contact in every state, so if the harassment crosses that line you could claim self defense and be acquitted if your response seems reasonable and proportional. other than that it'd probably be difficult. most (possibly all?) legal systems very strictly distinguish between words and actions, with the latter treated as much more grave, so a punch in response to verbal provocation would still most likely have you found guilty, although the sentence would probably be lowered.
since you specifically asked about jury acquittal this isn't directly relevant, but the prosecution could also decline to pursue the case in the first place. prosecution is discretionary in the US, so you might get lucky there. a few years back mike tyson physically attacked a fellow flight passenger, who had allegedly been bothering him and thrown a water bottle at him, and wasn't prosecuted, even though that really doesn't (legally) fall under self defense anymore. i don't know exactly why but it's possible the prosecutor found even if there was a crime, there was no need to prosecute given the circumstances.
