Let's talk about the styling of Treasure Epilogue : Action to Answer
Damn y'all. We've found our Treasure.
For the epilogue of our long journey, these looks don't feel like the end. Rather, they feel like a new beginning for Ateez (which is what it was sense we we're entering into the Fever era), but they choose to commemorate this end with remembrance of their past. Dystopian pirates, modernized pirates, and ofc Halateez.
When a long journey ends, you fondly look back at the past, and that's what these outfits did. They truly could not have ended this era in any other way.
Highkey Deja Vu's original concept designs 🤣. In classic Treasure era fashion, the outfits have a Dystopian feel thanks to the selective use of somewhat baggy pants (yeosang & san) and long outwears (rap line), but utilizes more leather to help it contrast with the album's theme of blue. I think what I love most about these looks is the use of shades hinted with blue to help give the outfits cooler contrast. Especially since this Ateez's first time experimenting with the color, but it's not overbearing the whole look. It's extremely subtle as a hue, letting the theme of the album do the work to allow the blue to be brought out in the outfits
Visualize with me rq Atiny; You know how in 2000s - early 2010s girl show where the characters would have a change in casual clothes to give the characters a refreshing look? That's what these looks remind me of; the beige/brown modern pirate crew's from Zero to One alternative outfits. They hold the same air thanks to the brown and beige pieces, but with the introduction of more blacks to give more contrast, Wooyoung's pale yellow sweater, and San's white and red long sleeve top helps the looks to stand out in their own way as individuals while staying unified
Halateez's return 😂 Since we already talked about Halateez's styling, I won't go too in depth about it again because I'd just be repeating myself. But something I've noticed about this Halateez return is that they're dressed more casually??? Like in Zero to One, Halateez's clothing were more covered and seemingly heavier, which makes sense since that was their first appearance and was sell of Halateez is mysterious enigmas. This Halateez is lighter and less covered thanks to the lack of leather and the removal of the masks (and Seonghwa's exposed collarbone)
(I love the soft hints of regal within the concept. And the all blue monochrome is so cool 💙💙💙💙💙)
Let's talk about the styling of Treasure Ep. Fin : All to Action
Halfway through y'all! And it's my second favorite Treasure album (behind Zero to One).
I think the cover of All to Action tells you perfectly what the styling is going for; dark and regal. But in typical Ateez fashion, they'll manage to sneak in their touch of Dystopian into the mix.
There's not much for me to note with these looks truthfully. I truly believe that this era is meant to be more focused on their music rather than their style since this is Ateez's first studio album (prior 3 were mini albums / extended plays), which I believe was a good idea. That could just be me though 🤷♀️
The classic dark royalty aesthetic of K-pop groups. Similarly to the second concept photos of All to Zero, I do enjoy these types of outfits cause I'm a whore for a good dark regal look. I especially love the black stashes and the cross brooches as they add a nice touch of flare to the suits. But honestly, I can't even say much about the looks cause they're styled as a collective. It's not bad, but I enjoy it when Ateez shows more individually in their outfits, which these looks don't have. If anything, it's iconic in terms of the stereotypical kpop trend.
Now this is what I'm talking about with individuality! These looks are far more striking and stand out way better than the previous thanks to all the various colors. And they still have that hint of Dystopia due to the loose sweaters (I LOVE Seonghwa's checkered vest), baggy outwears, layered necklaces, and dangling earrings. And also, Hongjoong standing out as the captain thanks to his washed denim jeans and light grey boots to set him apart from the members (we love it when Hongjoong is identified as the leader/captain), but I also appreciate Yunho having snake print boots to possibly signify him the Captain's right hand since he is the second member to join KQ.
(Wooyoung served so much cunt in this era with the platinum blonde hair 😩😩 What a diva ✨✨ And Hongjoong's indigo hair is deadass one of my favorite hair colors on him)

Let's talk about the styling of Treasure Ep 3 : One to All
It's time to reach utopia, Atiny!
Honestly, out of all of Ateez's outfits within the Treasure Era, One to All are their most youthful boy group take, taking a bit of a deter from their darker/ muted colors to embrace a more brighter and colorful palette to match the summertime theme without discarding their concept as a whole.
Honestly, this was probably KQ's best chance to have Ateez follow the Kpop stereotypes and they made it work without sacrificing their uniqueness.
This is what I mean in my previous statement. The style itself is very much rooted in the youthful boy group concept, but still thrives off their modern day pirate concept. The clothes are very saturated and eye catching, really emphasizing this new colorful aesthetic with slight nods to the pirate theme, such as Hongjoong's fur coat, the shared blue in their outfits, and some having dangling earrings. But, yet again, their unity as a team is subtle thanks to one small detail. Can you guess what it is? Ding Ding Ding! Their silver chained necklaces! Such a easy thing to overlook but it gives enough to let viewers know that the crew is always together and is 1 team!
Youthful boy group: skater bois edition. These looks are far less saturated and colorful, opting away the saturated colors for more washed out ones that seems to be leaning a bit towards their original dystopian theme. It really reminds me of their first All to Zero concept photos but ✨ summerfied ✨ Honestly, the only one who really sticks out here is Yunho, and that's because they put him in such dark denim that contrasts so much from the rest of Ateez and even the aesthetic itself. I genuinely don't know if I like it how it stands out or not 🤷♀️ (it's like the introvert friend coming to a summer party wearing a black turtleneck *ahem* me *ahem*)
(DUSTY RED HAIRED BLUE EYED FRECKLED POUTY HONGJOONG MY LOVE 😍✨😍💕💕 Jongho looks more maknae than he ever has his whole career and it's so cute 😂 Sannie looks so precious here and I fucking adore those neon lime green hoops. And Wooyoung being the black cat he is will never be out of style)
Let's talk about the styling of Treasure Ep 2 : Zero to One
The looks that truly began the Ateez era, you can't tell me any differently.
Undoubtably, these looks are easily Ateez's most iconics and recognizable, and for good reasons. EVERYONE within the Kpop industry knows these looks for how new and original they were at the time. And even now, I don't think any Kpop group has left such an original impression like this before (could be wrong tho).
Similar to All to Zero, they hold the same concept of Dystopian Pirates, even somewhat sharing the same color schemes, but these styles are held to a much greater extent as each concept photos has actual room to separate their aesthetics from one another so viewers can appreciate the differences.
If you ever wondered what a modern day pirate crew would look like, look no further than here. The beige and brown palette helps the outfits stay unified with greatly individualized styles, along with the combination of leather and fur that immediately gravitates you to the outfits. I think what I truly appreciate is the lack of gold accessories. Gold would've been an easy choice since it compliment brown shades, but the silver accessories doesn't give too much bling and since the accessories are scarce in the looks, it doesn't distract you away from the outfits. And the hair colors chosen was literal perfection, having more natural and bleached colors to help it blend with the outfits so, again, there's no distraction from the look. Deadass, I could talk about these looks forever they're THAT good
If there was a look that anyone could recognize, it's Halateez. This enigmatic yet dark style is such a 360° to all their prior looks that gets your attention off rip, combined with the silver accessories giving the all black a cooler contrast, the iconic fedoras to cast shadows over their eyes to give a more brooding appearance, and the achromatic filter to truly capture the essence of mystery around these versions of Ateez. Mwah 💋 chef's kiss 💋 perfection ( no but imagine being so damn original with your concept that other companies make their own artists plagiarize your earliest works. how sad 😂 )
Okay, uhm... I'm not gonna lie, I honestly didn't know these looks existed. They're not a bad style, but because of how the prior two literally outshines these outfits so much, they didn't get a chance to even make an impact for this era. These looks are like combining the enigma of Halateez with the all leather looks outfits and added elements of Pirate Ateez coming from the accessories and hair, but the red accents does helps it shine in its own unique way. Kinda like a rockstar aesthetic here and I love a good rockstar style. Please, someone find some scraps of these looks they're literally so barren

Love seeing new ATINY and non-fans drastically misinterpret Woo and Hongjoong’s dynamic when they bicker. “Hongjoong needs to do something like wrestle Wooyoung to the ground and sit on him till he behaves” do you want him to come in front of God, ATINY, and everybody.
