I'll show you my figurine.
(I don't really like the face, I might have to redo it.)
I have a lot of funny photos with it.

Commission for @voxelfoxkae 🦊 🪢
Thank you so much for commissioning me! Had a lot of fun with this one!
After sharing The Shepherd of My Heart— Lord Sesshōmaru & Me: A Personal History, I received a lot of thoughtful and kind feedback. Hearing that my story resonated with others, that it made people feel seen in their own attachments, meant more to me than I expected.
Because of that, I want to continue sharing honestly, authentically.
This blog exists to honor my bond with Sesshōmaru— and I don’t think I can do that without also acknowledging and honoring the kid I used to be. That younger version of me is where this connection began, and pretending they don’t exist would feel like leaving something important behind.
What I’d like to share with you are pieces of art I drew when I was a kid.
Like a lot of kids, I coped and explored my feelings through drawing. This was the healthy alternative for me, as I began struggling with self harm in my teens. Art was how I made sense of things, how I expressed emotions I didn’t yet know how to name, and regulated.
Now, being the sentimental hoarder that I am, has allowed me to hold onto many of the sketchbooks from my childhood. Because of that, I can look back at those snap shot moments and feel how I felt when I made them— and sharing them now feels incredibly vulnerable.
The artwork you're about to see was drawn "before the internet"(internet was around just not readily/easily available to me) and without an audience in mind. It was personal, private, and created during a time when I was trying to manage feelings that felt much bigger than I was.
Some of the pieces I’m sharing in this post come from a deeply emotional place. Others are lighter— silly, awkward, a little embarrassing in that very specific way only childhood art can be. They’re a bit cringe, but they’re real, and they’re part of the same story.
我尝试了一下将新旧版结合在一起✧*。٩(ˊωˋ*)و✧*。

Lord Sesshōmaru & Me: A Personal History
Yumeshipping has a name now—a language, a space, a community. But when I fell in love with Lord Sesshōmaru, none of that existed for me.
I was only 12 when it started. We didn’t have the internet at home until I was 15. Even then, fandom spaces were scattered, slow, and nothing like what exists today. There were no dashboards, no tags, no algorithms connecting you with people who felt the same. There was no single place to belong.
But what I did have was time and my two hands.
I'm an older self/yume shipper and am seeking others who are 18+ or even better 21+. I love to see that self shipping is alive and well with the kiddos, but man do I feel isolated at my big age of 30+.
Reblog or Interact if you're a self shipping 18+/21+ or veteran.
