Did you know at the set of Capitan America 2. Chris Evans couldn’t tell apart  Scarlett Johanson’s stunt doubles from her so he would start talking to them as in they were Scarlett and the stunt doubles played the game ” How long would it take Chris to figure out im not Scarlett” . Apparently the record was 10 minutes.

Oliver Queen Appreciation Week.  Day #1: Your most memorable Oliver moment.

There are plenty moments that could make it on my most memorable moments, most of them from season 3. Moments where he was the most badass of all the badasses, moments where he was hilarious, moments where he broke your heart… But this particular moment, I just can’t shake. Not because of the quote itself, but because of his facial expression. I feel like I saw the deepest into Oliver’s heart in this moment. I look at him, and look at a man who has been through so much, who has tried in the past to have a life of his own but never, never made it. Everything kept crushing down, every moment of happiness was followed by a tragedy. It all led to isolation.

In this scene? Oliver is right where he wants to be; right where he needs to be. So he allows Felicity (and us) to see him. See how unbearably lonely he has been, see how used to this life he’s been that the option of being happy, of being himself, brings tears to his eyes. They are tears of disbelief that his dream is finally there, and they are tears of perfect happiness. Is it possible for him to be happy? Is he really there? Can he finally take a breath and thank God that he’s alive? It’s all right there, and he can’t believe in his own eyes that he was blessed with as much as a moment of beauty in his life. He can’t believe he’s getting his happy story. Him, the man who had embraced loneliness as his best friend. Him, the man who went through hell and dedicated his life to the greater good, and yet doesn’t believe he’s worthy of being loved by anyone.

Honestly, he just reminds me of a little puppy that I need to protect. God knows how many times I’ve watched this scene, how many times I’ve hit replay in this tiny moment here, but it still tears me up — especially after knowing that, once again, he didn’t get the happiness he deserves. Once again, the second he let himself believe, the world came crushing down. I have never adored Oliver more than this moment. And, knowing the outcome, he has never broke my heart more.
