I have been a fan of Disney films my whole life, but my favorite animated film of all time is How to Train your Dragon!! I will reblog anything having to do with Disney, Marvel, Once Upon a Time, and most importantly the How to Train your Dragon franchise.

These two gave each other bedtime eyes nearly through the whole franchise, then they are all the hot kisses they share, the sex metaphor with them in Dawn of Distraction and Hiccups low voice when he said Astrid. Hiccup heavily breathing over Astrid. These two adorable guys have so much sexual tension that it electrifies the air.

I guess this is why httyd was rated PG because of them😂

Hiccup Protection Squad

Okay, okay, okay BUT THIS DUDE DOES NOT deserve everything that has happened to him! He’s a sweet bean that just wants adventure and friendship and draws trouble to himself like a toddler in a kitchen!  The poor guy didn’t do anything WRONG but he is forced to become a warrior and a chief and a leader and a grown ass man ALL SO FAST and he DOESN’T DESERVE ANY OF IT. The guy’s lost almost everything and is still expected to take on so much, and does so without complaint.

Um….yeah, sorry for the breakdown, but can we like, reblog and make this a Hiccup appreciation/Hiccup protection thread??? I have the bubble wrap!

Viren vs. Callum

Viren is reaching out like he's reaching for help. There's desperation in his eyes and, even though it's not shown in this gif, he actually sheds a tear as he's turned to stone. As we saw this season (season 4), he doesn't want to do this anymore.

Callum, on the other hand, never takes his eyes off the cube. Unlike Viren who's reaching for help, Callum is reaching for the key. It looks like he doesn't even care that he's being turned to stone. To Callum, the key is more interesting than anything else. It has his undivided attention.

Can we just talk about this real quick?

Before Callum, all of this was thought to be impossible. Humans just couldn't do magic without the use of a primal stone or, in the case of dark magic, a sacrifice. The Earth is round, the grass is green, and humans aren't capable of this☝️

And remember Callum has a photographic memory. Some of the spells above he learned earlier in the same episode or even on the spot.

We're so used to it at this point but it's not normal.

Not to mention not only did he successfully perform his first dark magic spell, he walked away corruption free and still more powerful.

Shit if I was Aaravos I'd want him on my side, too.
