i love reading fictional siblings fuck
there's a whole story between azula/zuko + kiyi that needs to be discovered!!!!!!!!! y'all are sleeping on them!!!!!! write fics please!!!!!!! hear me out!!!!!!
zuko's new, perfect little sister calling him the same nickname his hateful, insane sister does. kiyi being able to firebend when she's still a child, just like azula was.
kiyi has no idea about the weight of the nickname. she just wanted a cute name for her new big brother. zuko needed to make a decision when he first heard her calling him that. should he tell her not to say it again or simply let her? and he chooses to let her use the nickname. the nickname azula came up with and used all their lives. sometimes to humiliate him, sometimes as a proof of her affection.
does kiyi fill the void azula left behind? he wants to believe she does. she is sweet, kind and pure in ways azula could never be. she gives zuko the chance to be the loving big brother he never got to be.
on top of everything, zuko now has a new father figure besides uncle iroh. with ozai defeated, our fire siblings are effectively fatherless. until they find their mother and discover she has remarried. while ikem is warm and welcoming to zuko, azula remains on the run, watching from afar as zuko replaces their old family. now, is it her turn to be erased? will he pretend his malicious little sister never existed, just like he tries to pretend ozai never did? and all the while, azula has no idea that zuko still secretly visits their father in his cell from time to time.
if azula ever decides to return to the palace, where will she fit in? it seems her spot is already taken by kiyi. what would azula think and feel? does she still have a place in zuko's life? could she create a new spot in his heart?
and if azula&zuko become a couple somehow (thus azula creating a new space for herself), how will it affect his dynamic with his new family?
i just can't stop thinking about this. and yes, i reread smoke and shadow + the spirit temple comic
You could try to write it yourself you know.
but that's too much work
no wonder nefera's scenes were my favorite as a child lol
just look at THEM
LOOK AT THEM
*screaming* (they're both talking to their siblings here btw)
(+bonus)
they both are such daddy's girl
lmao look at the comments on azula/zuko bedroom scene

there's no need to elaborate but some become strangers by stevie nicks is so zucest coded and nobody seems to notice it except for me .......
just finished one of the best fics to have ever existed and oh man i've been awake all night
i'm watching tlok for the first time and suddenly hearing zuko's voice in his grandson made me feel so nostalgic 😭😭😭😭
"i resent you for taking her side." but it's about zuko staying with ursa instead of going after azula
it's about azula's entire life because everyone always chose someone over her
"you will never know my sorrow." because she never let anyone see how much she was hurting, all because ozai taught her that being vulnerable, getting tired and sad was weakness and weakness needed to be punished
also because no one ever bothered to see behind her thick walls. no one ever truly tried to see the real azula so they never really knew how much help she needed
"why'd i try at all?" no matter how hard she fought and worked for him, ozai left her all by herself. soon after he left, she found herself chained and isolated

whatever i think i need to write a fic where zuko falls asleep mid sex
a friend to all is a friend to none ja
Azula wholeheartedly believes that she's a domme while she's a sub. Zuko is gentle parenting her through it.
Funny and accurate, anon, I like it XD
i'm about to finish my atla rewatch (only three eps left) and i just couldn't continue tonight 🫠🫠🫠 i'm not ready to see my baby breaking down again
just finished it
i hadn't really thought about the issues in the final ep before ..... like how did zuko and katara (and the rest of them) believed that they could take azula down??? did they know about azula banishing everyone?? because there's no way these two could take down azula + dai li and the other fire benders I'M SO PISSED OFF RN
and i'm almost two decades late to the conversation lol .......
