🌿 Maytide in Arda - Interest Check 🌿
I’m considering hosting a spring-themed Tolkien fandom event called Maytide in Arda, open to all corners of the legendarium:
The Silmarillion
The Hobbit
The Lord of the Rings
The Rings of Power
What this would be:
A low-pressure, thematic prompt event, focused on spring, renewal, journeys, and decisions.
Open to any medium (fic, art, meta, playlists, edits, etc) No minimums word counts. No canon policing.
What this is not:
Not ship-exclusive
Not era-exclusive
Not tied to one adaptation
Likely format:
A short, flexible event in May (around a week), with one theme per day and late entries always welcome.
