Has ALMOST happened a couple times, and those times I've managed to out wit him... Today however...

His command block? Hmm I think I'm about to find out whether or not this is a quantum pocket or not-

It's an odd thing for a wither storm to develop, for sure. Though nothing is truly out of the realm of possibility when a command block is involved!

Hmmm.... I'm most curious as to how it may produce a "sleep bubble" at all. Though perhaps it's simply an artistic stylization to help convey sleep... either way, he appears to be.. hugging himself? In his sleep? Fascinating to see a wither storm that's not Command sleep regardless.

I see this appears to be an illustration of..... what!! Command!? Sleeping, no less. He does do that often. I suppose I'll take this opportunity to share about him a bit.

This here is, as I said, Command; a wither storm of my own summoning (mmm- originally? irrelevant-). Not only that, but a rather successful attempt at bringing the dead just one step closer back to life. And as a result of being such, he tends to break a lot of expectations you might have about wither storms. First of all, his self-control is rather immaculate. He won't attack you on sight and would rather not eat you at all. In fact, eating isn't exactly his favorite activity in general (such happens when your particularly strong bond with a human soul clashes with your physical existence). Furhtermore, see that dent in his middle head that looks like a scar? Truth has it that he was so frustrated from being rebuilt (hold on, rebuilt? Story for another time.) that he gave that skull a huge horizontal crack! Which in turn left that head a bit disfigured, as is shown. Such leaves that head's tractor-beam-producing organ a bit squished and delicate, but still functional. The command block has its ways of... improvising for sure. Second of all, the eyes themselves. Notice how they're dark. That's something I've made myself rather lucky to observe in wither storms. Since they normally don't have any muscles they can contort around their screen-like eyes, dimming and brightening tends to be their equivalent to closing and opening. I've recorded eyes as dark as #150019 and as bright as #e97bff! Command, of course, is no exception to this.... usually. More recently I've observed that wither storms have a tendency to develop unique features based on what circumstances they're used to. Again though, that might be a topic for another time. Lastly, why sleep at all? Why sleep at all when you're an endlessly growing undead who's energy needs are simply apocalyptic? Well, as it turns out, it's a great way to both conserve energy and not threaten anything! And Command has learned (honestly the hard way) that the less he threatens the world or its inhabitants, the less likely someone will come along to try to kill him. This threat-reducing behavior is especially important when you consider he has his own Pokémon that he cares for. And no, I'm not kidding. They're a Mimikyu and a Spiritomb, and you will only see them away from him if he's worrying for their safety.
