The Moon and The Abandoner.
Yandere LOONA x Reader
Its OT12, I just don't know how to format images nicely and I wanted to use something modern.
curse tumblrs limited colours but i was not using HTML.
I really enjoyed writing this fic, like, really. Hope you enjoy it as much.
The moon remembers the abandoners presence.
Light in its warmth. Contrasting the eternal darkness.
Combined with one each other.
Until it ran, the dynamic has shifted.
The moon is lonely.
It will find the abandoner.
The crescent will become whole.
- The moons promise, to the abandoner.
The cacophonous sound of your alarm rippled through your bedroom, jolting you awake. 7AM, great. You forgot to turn it off, maybe you could go back to sleep. But it wouldn't be worth the effort.
At least you can start your productive tasks, get the monotonous tasks out of the way and enjoy your life later tonight.
That'd be the dream.
For as long as this town has existed tradition was made, the shrine of divinity. It's said to have illuminated this town and contributed to its endless prosperity, you didn't believe it. But families, friends and the entire population would shun you out for that belief. You've avoided going to it for most of your adult life.
But people are unfortunately growing wise of your lack of presence, so you'll make a public display to appease the people. You checked your drawers, finding the stuff, slightly dusty so you'll wipe it down.
One stick, covered in white and gold foil, adorned with a small full moon. Traditionally made out of paper but upon the night of blot it's been made out of silver.
A black cape, represents the night sky just without the stars. You threw it in the bag, not your bag because it'd be 'disrespectful'. Now you are ready, let's make it quick.
Your town was small, so it was barely a 5 minute walk. The queue was just beginning to form, though it'd still take ages due to the formation of the line. In the form of a curved semi circle, so you also had to run a calculation in your head.
Remember the line.
People are behind you.
You observed the act. Left knee, 12 words. No more than a hushed whisper.
Okay.
Improvise the rest.
The line grew behind but in front it fell away.
It was your turn, put the cloak on, grab the stick.
Down to your left knee into the dirt, sit in front of the multicoloured veil and breathe in.
"May the moon gaze upon this town once more, guide us all."
That's it, no fanfare. Done.
You left.
At least it'd appease your family.
----
ViVi, the herald of the moon watched over earth. Observing all, witnessing everything. Sitting in the shiny silver throne, feet planted on the star-forged footrest. Earth was the sole object of her interest, basking in the glory of thousands of individuals admiring their charity.
Though one thing caught her eye, the energy in one town was wrong, familiar. The moon never forgot, could it be them? No, surely not. ViVi closed her eyes, trying to reach to that shrine.
But that feeling was gone, whoever was there had left.
The abandoner, why do you mock us so?
Her eyes opened, looking at mars. A singular tear froze in her eye.
The abandoner, at our shrine.
Hyunjin, the bountiful approached ViVi, sensing the shift in her emotion. Wearing her regal yellow dress, holding a long silver staff. With a shining whole moon on the tip.
"Kahei. Something about you is awry, speak." Hyunjin dug her staff into the moon. Their base was situated at the pinnacle of the orbiting rock, invisible to the earthlings they monitor.
"A prayer felt akin to the abandoner, but it was fleeting. It can't be felt there. Look forward and tell me if you feel it." Hyunjin listened to her, putting her hand out. It was ephemeral, but something was there. That feeling she had all those generations ago. In the bed, embracing each other, that unbridled joy.
"That, them." All of them took a pact to never say the abandoners real name unless they met them once more.
"Perhaps, may they return to us. I'll ask Jiwoo to look around the earthly plane." ViVi stood up, acknowledging Hyunjin before leaving off to find Jiwoo.
"Very well. I will deal with the blessings."
---
The extra time from your mishap had actually been quite the fortune in disguise, giving you the time to meet your friends for the first time in a month.
The coffee shop was empty, with the exception of a few staff members and you three. It was modern, sleek and generic. White walls, black columns, wooden tables. Your friends had grown accustom to this place, practically living here.
"Yooo! Y/N whats up!" Your best mate Eunwoo called out, hand waving to you. "I was surprised Hanni said you were coming, but I got your favourite!" The drink slid across the table smoothly, stopping just before falling off the counter.
"Appreciate it, I'll pay you back later." You fell into the seat, taking the seat opposite to Eunwoo and adjacent Hanni.
"Pftt, don't sweat it. I still owe you like... let's just call ourselves even." Eunwoo owes you quite a bit more than one coffee, but for now you'll let him off. Friends do what friends do.
"Clearing your own debt? Nice to see your still classy Eunwoo." Hanni said from the side, sighing.
"Well you know, gotta keep the hustle up." Eunwoo took a sip out of his coffee, giggling to himself at his cleverness.
"Whatever, nice to see you again Y/N. If you woke up at a normal time we could make this a more regular occasion." Hanni sighed, she's always been on your case about waking up and meet up with them. You've always sidestepped them, but maybe you'll consider it.
Probably not.
"Yeah yeah, sure. Do you guys not have anything better to do? Practically live in this shop." You drank some coffee, definitely the wrong order. Good ole Eunwoo, one job.
"Obviously, we just like being up before 8pm at night. Some can't relate evidently." Hanni smirked.
"Hey you two–" Eunwoo interjected over Hanni quickly. "wanna hit a PC bang or something after this. Could be some fun."
"Eugh you and them PC bangs, not....." You zoned out, not paying much attention. Eyes wondering around the scenes behind windows, trees, rocks and pedestrians.
Your eyes widened suddenly.
You are being looked at. Not by someone you know. A girl with a crown adorned in crystals, her peach eyes piercing into your skull.
"Y/N? You alright?" They asked, looking at you in concern.
"Someone's fucking staring at me, what the hell?" You pointed at the creepy girl watching you, they followed your command and turned around.
"What?? There's nobody Y/N." Hanni said, staring at you weirdly.
"Yeah are you good?" Eunwoo parroted, what? You are looking at them.
They are looking at you.
"Stop fucking kidding, there's literally someone with peach eyes staring at me." You were panicking, did you suddenly have a stalker?
"You need some rest, there's literally nothing but a tree." Hanni stated.
You can see it, literally see it. What the fuck?
"So... About that PC Bang?" Eunwoo asked again.
"I think Y/N needs to sleep, if they think their being stalked. Guess we will have to reschedule..." Hanni dismissed you, the two of them getting up and leaving.
That was odd, she's still looking at you.
Maybe if you run.
----
Chuu, the visionary pulled her apparition from the small town, that was definitely the abandoner. Their presence, their confidence, it all had manifested into something different.
But the fact she could be seen. That's no accident.
The moon is inescapable, dear.
Chuu smiled softly, their next step can go ahead. She stroked the peach gems on her hand, how pretty they looked.
You always gave me the best colour.
She laid there on her bed, made of the finest silken fabrics, she'll inform the peers later. For now she can bask in the joy of sharing a moment, however small.
---
You got home, slamming your bag into the floor. Falling into your mattress, bouncing against it. Hard and uncomfortable, but whatever.
That girl rang on your thoughts, you saw it, you saw it. Eunwoo and Hanni had to be messing around, but why would they fuck with you?
That's out of character.
You felt exhausted suddenly, like a million bricks had began to weigh you down. Putting your head on your pillow, eyes beginning to shut down.
The peach reflection stared back, even while resting.
Eugh.
You can't handle this.
You shoved the blanket over you, enjoying its weight and warmth. Comforting you temporary, it'll do.
----
Chuu had summoned every member for a council meeting, the first time in countless generations. It wasn't needed, everything was a well oiled machine.
But this day was written into the stars, to come eventually.
And they were elated.
Chuu began to speak, the other 11 stared.
"I saw them. Their new appearance is even more beautiful. The grace of the moon has not left them." Chuu said, smiling to herself.
Haseul, the songbird broke the silence first. "Jiwoo, explain your certainty." She sung, adjusting her crown.
"You can feel it. Like the purest light, remember what they did for us." Chuu lifted her left hand, the gemstone catching the rays of light.
Choerry, the artificer smiled. That was her work, combining the abandoners gift with the silver frame. "If this is true, how can we communicate with them?"
"I am unaware of the method. Jungeun, speak." Chuu called to the callous individual to the end of the table, sitting ages away from everyone else.
Kim Lip, the navigator replied curt and shortly. "If they believe in the prophecy. Their dream."
ViVi spoke over Chuu, thus is hierarchy of superiority. "They've only ever prayed once. I am under good authority to state they don't believe."
Hyeju, the conjurer watched on in thought. Trying to think about how to reach their ultimate goal, the one set out long ago.
An idea came to her mind, one that could work.
"Send Yeojin to earth, alone. I trust Jiwoo knows what to look for and can share that information?" Her voice boomed, speaking with misplaced authority as one of the youngest.
Chuu doesn't care for ideals like that. The abandoner is the end goal.
"Of course. I'll help Yeojin figure it out, my apparitions can not speak. This is the only way."
The only way.
Yeojin, the sycophant smiled brightly and fully, flashing her teeth. While the youngest and most spunky in her personality, that does not mean she is weak. Far from it. "Yay! I've got it! Let me go." She gripped onto her orange glove, adorned with similar gems. The abandoner gave them outfits and concepts that suited them all, letting Choerry make them.
"Prepare yourself, remember not to overwhelm them. We will force them if required, but avoid making that evident." Chuu commanded.
The briefing was over.
The abandoner will be communed with.
One day, they will come home.
For the moon had promised this.
When the separation occurred.
---
That was the worst sleep of your life, but at least the piercing eyes weren't in your head anymore.
You were drenched in cold sweat, clothes sticking to you grossly. Eugh.
The sky was dark, how long were you out? Fumbling for your phone you found out. 8pm.
Wow.
"Xanthus!" You jumped backwards, hitting your back on your drawers. Falling to the ground.
What the fuck was happening?
"How did you get into my house...? What the fuck! Get out!" You shouted impulsively, in front of you was another girl. Different, shorter. Eyes glowing a dim orange. Wearing a tangerine outfit, shorts that came down just above her knees and a tight t-shirt with fingerless gloves.
"Xanthus...? You don't recognise me." She frowned, outstretching her hand. In it laid a stone that glowed softly.
"Who the fuck... Leave my house." You got up.
"Please, you don't? Why... you fucking abandoner." Her voice was solemn. Lips going to a frown.
"You have the wrong person. I don't know who Xanthus is. But it isn't me, leave." You tried to maintain your composure, keeping enough distance. First a stalker now an intruder.
"I can sense it. Sit down, I want to talk. I'm Yeojin." Yeojin pointed at your bed, you weren't doing that.
"No." you were confident.
"Enough Xanthus. Why did you flee? Why are you being awkward!" She lifted her hand up, shoving you into the bed effortlessly. Slamming your head forcefully into the wall. "Oh sorry! Didn't mean to do that."
You groaned. "What the fuck– how?" Rubbing your head in shock and pain.
"You prayed, you actually prayed. You want to come back, there's no other reason. Come home Xanthus, please." She pleaded, grabbing onto your stick, ripping the bag open.
"Your– no, I'm going crazy, I'm actually going insane." You muttered, reaching for your phone.
"Stop pretending you can't feel it, that pulse, our heartbeats intertwined." Yeojin closed in, taking short steps. "I just... you remember that night? Surely, you remember that night we embraced each other. Please."
You shook your head, "What the fuck... I'm just going to call the cops."
"No! You know what, this is fruitless. Xanthus, I will be back. Not alone. Goodbye for now."
She disappeared in a bright flash, singeing your eyes. Sitting in eternal darkness for the next few eyes until your vision recovered.
Xanthus huh? I'm never praying again.
Where Yeojin warped away from left a card, golden, imprinted by a sky and a frog.
XII - The Frog.
A tarot card.
You'll keep it on your desk, might need it.
----
Yeojin returned to their sanctuary, dejected but not hopeless. There was a spark she could feel, recognise.
Ultimately this was written from the start.
She will reunite the moon, rebind all 13 of them together.
Together they will shine.
She savoured that spark, reporting the findings to the council.
Yves, the strategist approached Yeojin. "Share your findings."
"Its them! But they didn't listen, just screamed and threatened to call the cops." Yeojin shouted.
"Quiet. No time for eccentricism, state conditions." Yves chronicled Yeojin's words into her floating journal. Each word flashing burgundy and being eternalised before becoming black ink.
"Oh yeah, sorry Sooyoung... Lives alone, human strength. Would be easy to take but since Xanth-" She nearly slipped up, that'd get her punished. Pacts and all. "They don't believe me, we wouldn't be force them to accept the role."
Yves wrote more. "Good job, Yeojin. You have done good, I'll think about our plan. See you later." And she disappeared.
Yeojin just went to sleep, the moon has to rest as well.
After one cycle Go Won, the protector had been summoned to Yves' quarters. Yves had multiple copies of her journal, reiterating, refining, realising that an elaborate plan was just simply not needed for this. Go Won's thing was comforting and making people pliable, she can do it.
"Chaewon."
"Sooyoung."
The two weren't the most amicable of friends, even when whole. Their approaches too different to establish a major bond, but this was important.
They'll choke it down for now.
"The others seem confident in their assessment, the abandoner has been found. You must head down like Yeojin did, try to placate them."
Go Won gave a curt nod, "Okay. What do I need to know?"
Yves flipped a few of her pages without touching them, highlighting it with her long nails, making it clear what is what. Minimising the need to speak.
"Read. You are dismissed." The book got shoved into Go Won's embrace, she will enact the moons promise.
---
You lounged around your room for the remaining hours of the day, earned by the awful day.
The night was in full force, the sound of music flooding through the walls by inconsiderable individuals.
The card on your desk was cold, very cold. Frigid.
The TV in your room was playing a show, one you've been recommended countless times by Eunwoo. It's really the only thing he messages you about.
Knock Knock.
You weren't expecting anyone.
But, Hanni did like to be spontaneous.
Hopefully it's actually her.
You rushed downstairs, fumbling with the door lock.
It was open.
.
.
.
That's not Hanni.
How many of these girls were planning to terrorise you this evening?
You attempted to slam the door shut, but it didn't yield. Stiff in place.
"They are right, that presence... Please be not afraid, I do not wish to harm." Her voice was slow, soft, sweet. Almost disarmingly so, the door wasn't going to move so your choices were limited.
"I'm taking that no isn't on the cards?" You stepped back, her head shook slightly, stepping closer. Preventing you from drawing distance.
"No, Xanthus listen. It's a lot, I'm aware. Let me in. We can talk about this in a more comfortable method." The formality at which she spoke made you anything but comfortable.
"I'm, stop calling me that. My name is Y/N." You demanded, voice venomously annoyed.
"Okay. I believe what I have to say should take place where you can lay down. I'm Chaewon, if you wish to address me."
Chaewon had an ethereal presence, wearing a mint green dress with veils that covered her legs. Everything about her felt, trustable. Unlike that Yeojin, you led the way to your bedroom. She followed behind.
"This bedroom, it reminds me of you. Somethings don't change." Chaewon commented, closing the door. Preventing you from running within a moments notice, you were at ease somehow.
"Yeah... What did you want to tell me?"
"Tell, no. I want to show." Chaewon laid down on your bed without asking, outstretching her arms. "Please join me."
Surprisingly, you compiled. Going against your better judgment, get it done with and accept your fate. She hasn't thrown you into a wall.
Your body fell into Chaewon's hands, feeling slightly awkward. "Good Xan-Y/N. Heed my words, close your eyes." She whispered into your ear.
You complied.
The world was dark, calm. Her breath cradled your ears, soft wind making your heart go still. "You used to be with us, the moon whole. We loved you, vice versa. Together as one." She turned music on, classical.
"I'm still not the person you are looking for." You reiterated.
"Do not deny. The moon recognises itself, we miss you." Chaewon's embrace tightened, made you feel... comfortable. Something was familiar.
Like you've been here before.
You shook your head.
"So, why did I run then? Clearly there's a reason."
Her arms faltered, before stroking your hair with two fingers. "I can't explain that, but I will show you." She turned you around, pressing you into her chest.
"Hey wai-"
"Silence. It's necessary." The minty scent of Chaewon filled your nose, the only thing you could focus on. Your vision was dark and you were trapped. "Kataskion aski!"
Everything went blank. Hollow. Empty.
----
You were on the moon.
There was 12 of them, three of them recognisable.
You looked down, that's not your appearance.
Covered in modest robes, your fingers had 12 rings on them.
Each in a different colour.
"Why are you doing this?" Someone called upon you, wearing blue, a tunic. In her hand an dual edged axe, stained red slightly.
A voice that didn't sound like yours began to respond. From your mouth. "I must go, you know why."
"All this? Abandoning your responsibilities as moonborn for one bad decision? You are weak."
"They prayed, they offered. They repented and you murdered them all."
The warborne.
Your thoughts were merging with whatever Chaewon wanted you to hear.
"Silence! We had reasons. You can shed your responsibilities but we will find you."
You were reborn, like a phoenix wing. Ran away and reincarnated as what you see today.
You are Xanthus, the divine saviour.
The moon started to break away, the girl in front of you disappeared.
It went dark once again.
----
You gasped, her arms holding you still. What the fuck? What the hell?
Xanthus... The divine.
"You see now. I can tell you see." Chaewon gasped, letting you free. You got up, panicking, shaking. Existential dread clawing at you, your life a lie. All of it was a lie.
You fell to your knees.
"What the fuck! How, what, why!" You shouted, looking at the window.
It's staring at you.
It sees you.
It mocks you.
"Relax. Come here." Chaewon offered you a hug once more.
You accepted it.
"Y/N, you should return to us. You know this, but I'm not here to force you. My role has been played, like yours shall be soon." She traced reassuring circles on your back, whispering sweet nothings, letting you sob into her shoulder.
"I just, it's not real. My life, its fake! What the fuck!" you croaked, tightening your hold on Chaewon's body.
"Not fake, you chose this. Long before. Relax into my embrace, I will leave upon your request."
You didn't immediately will her away, the warmth of her presence something you enjoyed in immense guilt. Presumably before this day, this rabbithole will consume you.
Your friends won't listen, trust you. They couldn't see that girl in the coffee shop, they won't be able to see these two. A tarot card? That's not enough.
You'll be doing this alone.
You enjoyed Chaewon's hug for a few more moments. "Please, leave."
"Of course. Good to see you again Y/N."
The fuck.
You ran to the bathroom, splashing water will help.
The faucet ran, water flowing into the drain.
It gathered in your hand, a cold puddle.
You threw it at yourself, letting the cold bite your skin. A deep sigh escaping your pursed lips at every droplet that fell down.
You looked up.
Your own reflection didn't stare back, that wasn't you.
There was nothing to recognise.
Those clothes around its neck, you wish you could struggle them.
Xanthus may be you, but you are not Xanthus.
Enough.
Your fist launched into the mirror with all its might, shattering it with a force that startled you. A massive crack winding through the middle, millions of shards breaking into a dust on your hand.
Your fist was bleeding, blood dripping into the acrylic sink, white blooming red.
It stings.
They will not control your fate.
You will.
The glass laid on the floor.
--
The night was late, this couldn't be done during the day time. You put on your black hoodie, lifting the hood up. Knife in your hand.
The people will not pray to the moon, the shrine will be destroyed.
You will make your own fate, that mantle will not be taken.
The streets were silent, calm. Everyone was asleep, no cars driving by. You kept walking until the shrine was in front of you.
13 pieces of fabric, all of different colours.
12 for them, 1 for Xanthus.
You cut one at a time.
Hot pink. Cut.
Yellow. Cut.
You took a breath, the fabric falling to the floor at your feet.
Green. Cut.
Orange. Cut.
Another breath. You feel like you are being watched, something peering into your skin.
Baby Pink. Cut.
Red. Cut.
Blue. Cut.
Purple. Cut.
Each fibre of fabric that was cut represented one of them, their outfits...
Burgundy. Cut.
Peach. Cut.
Mint Green. Cut.
So that one's Chaewon, sorry.
Black. Cut.
Final one.
Silver. Cut.
A sudden sickness filled your veins, eugh. How much of Xanthus was apart of you?
It's done. The veil is gone, you kicked over the shrine. It laid in ruin, destroyed.
----
Heejin, the hexbringer fell to her knees, alongside the rest of them one by one. Feeling a sudden bout of illness, "Kahei, what's happening?" She gasped.
"A shrine's been vandalised." She looked towards the earth. "That one, the abandoner's doing. Certainly." She couldn't look through it, for the shrine was destroyed. The majority of their blessings came from that one place, it must be rebuilt for their egos and strength.
The moon recovered, getting back up. Jinsoul approached the duo, "We can't let this continue. This must end."
"They are rejecting their power, lashing out against us. Let the moon's strength cast upon them." Heejin and Jinsoul were best partners, their obligations going hand in hand. Hexes and violence haven't needed to be done in generations, today was an exception.
"Very well. Prepare yourself for the next cycle."
ViVi frowned, this wasn't how she wanted this to go. But they weren't able to be stopped.
May the abandoner be logical.
This doesn't have to end in misery.
---
Your eyes shot up suddenly, screams, so many screams. Muffled by a brick wall, you rubbed your eyes.
Holy shit.
Outside everything was in flames, buildings on fire. Roads on fire, people on fire. Shit.
You need to get out this room.
Smoke filled your nose, you grabbed your phone and the knife just in case. The door opened, the stairs were on fire. Shit not that way.
You opened the window, this was the only option to escape. Jumping out onto your canopy. Falling onto the road where it was not burning.
"AHHHHHHH!" People were screeching, actively set on fire. Flames attaching onto their clothes.
What the hell happened? There's no way.
"Y/N!" Hanni!
You looked over, Eunwoo was there as well.
"What the fuck is happening?" You asked.
"I don't fucking know! The entire town is on fucking fire. We need to go." Hanni shouted, the flames were getting worse.
You couldn't go though.
This fire could not be an accident.
The timing, the strength.
"You guys need to drive out of here before the whole place goes aflame!" You screamed.
"Yeah, you are coming with. Our cars are on fire! we need you to drive!"
Shit.
"I can't leave. That girl who was watching me, you won't believe the full story! But it's not relevant." You had your keys on you always. Throwing it into Hanni's hands.
"Don't be stupid!" Eunwoo shouted.
"Trust me, go before it's too late!"
Hanni grabbed onto Eunwoo's arm, tugging him along. "Fine! Whatever the fuck is going on! We'll see you after this."
Okay.
They drove off, avoiding the flames. Thankfully there was minimal traffic from what you could see.
They'll be safe.
You'll be safe.
"Look upon me!" A voice boomed, you turned.
Her. That one with the axe, the warborne.
She was in the sky, surrounded by fire.
oh abandoner wise, come back to us Xanthus. A voice sung?
You shook your head, "You fucking monsters! The entire town in flame?"
"Kahei wanted this to be amicable, Chaewon told us not to do this. But this ends tonight." The warborne dropped down in front of you, her presence towering and intimidating. "My, your new appearance is beautiful."
The flames were getting more intense, circing around you. Any longer and you'll be trapped.
oh abandoner wise, don't fight the moon.
"You are murdering them all! Like the memory! This. You are a monster."
"I guess my ways are dated. But does it matter? You are about to come back to us Xanthus." Her hand grabbed at your neck, lifting you upwards. Oxygen being ripped away from you, dangling above the road. Her face had a sadistic smirk, tilting her head. "Agree and I'll drop you."
You thrashed, kicking her in her chest. But her resolve was stronger, way stronger.
The knife.
Your hand reached into your pocket. Pulling it out, her eyes widened in almost pride. The slash to her arm did nothing, you weren't being dropped.
Your vision was getting blurry. But you won't give in. You'll die here.
"Jinsol. Killing them compromises our goal." It's the peach girl...
"You are right." Her grip loosened, letting you breathe in the acrid odor of burning flesh and tar.
"Come back with us Y/N, no more pain has to happen. No more death." Chaewon.
Powerless, that's what you are. The fire is getting closer, you will die if you don't give in.
More people will die if you don't give in.
But if you give in.
"Go to hell..!" You spat.
"Xanthus..." Yeojin. How many had came?
"We will repair your little town, save them all. You can keep your appearance, come back to the moon. Make us whole again."
You had no choice. There's no time.
"Fine."
Jinsol smiled. "You did it. Let's go home."
The flash happened again. You all disappeared.
Without a trace, except the fires.
The moon was cold, unrelenting. A girl wearing baby pink came up to you, wrapping you in a blanket. "Xanthus! You are here. You listened to them? I'm so happy."
"I had no choice." You snapped.
"This is unsurprising. Jinsol and Heejin are unrelenting, but we've loved you for so long. I see you haven't reclaimed your ability to resist the cold." Her arms were next to comfort you.
You didn't stop her. The touch was contrastingly pleasant.
"I'm..."
"Xanthus. I made you something." Your eyes turned, a girl wearing all purple. Something akin to a blacksmith outfit.
It was a bracelet, silver gems and silver metal. "To signify your return." She put it on you.
You wanted to cry.
Chaewon appeared next, "You should rest. The merging cycle will make you exhausted. Doing so while tired will comatose you."
You didn't fight as the girl's navigated you to a bed.
You didn't fight when they laid beside you.
You didn't fight when they hugged you.
There was no energy left.
You couldn't get back to earth, maybe you could by merging with them. But for now you must rest.
Damn them all.
The moons promise was fulfilled.
