When will my reflection show who I am inside

Hello! I am Róisín McCrae. I am a sixth year Hufflepuff. I'm not all too good with talking about myself. But if you want to know more, I can try!

It's really weird not being able to talk to you nowadays, but I'm managing. I'm good, though? How about you? Will woke up, I bet you're happy about that. But, I'm still sorry that you can't see either one of us. You're right...I'm not really sad a lot. But now...now...I don't know...it's different. It's all too much, Sutton. It really is and sometimes I wish I wasn't a muggle-born. I really need you right now, Sutton. I need my best friend. But letters are actually a good idea, really.

I'll be safe, Sutton, of course I will. But I'm still going to worry about you, I hope you do know. I know you'll be fine, but I still will. The Ministry will come to their senses soon - and then things will be better. I love you too, Sutton. I  just had the time to reply since every time I tried to leave it under the statue, someone was around and I don't want to be caught. Reply when it's safe to, okay? I don't want you to get in trouble...or worse.

I’m not going to get all whiny and grumpy over this. It’ll just make things harder on everybody adjusting. One of the strengths of a Hufflepuff isn’t it? Being able to find some sort of silver lining?

Yeah. I think it's way easier on everybody if people aren't complaining and being whiny about this. I definitely think it's one of our many strengths.

Breaking Slowly || Self-Para

Really? Was this stupid decree even necessary? They already had the pins and now they were being separated from everyone and ignored. They were people, too! How could this Ministry do this? Roisin was annoyed - in an outrage. But no one saw that part of her. She remained optimistic on hopeful to everyone but in truth, she wanted to be angry and say how she truly felt. But she couldn't break character. She refused to. She paced around the now empty dorm - all the non brandished muggle-borns having packed their things and left already - and she was in a whirlwind of emotions. Her mind drifted slowly to Will and the state he was in. In a way, she envied him. He didn't have to suffer through this right now like the rest of him, but she knew he had suffered far worse. She, herself, was afraid that something like that would happen to her. Being a muggleborn was dangerous. She was usually proud of heritage and didn't care about what others thought of that. But now she wasn't so sure.... Her emotions all overwhelmed her and before she knew it she was sobbing. Pretty loudly and roughly, too. She didn't know how much longer she could keep this up. She was so close to breaking - to giving up. She wasn't going to last much longer and she knew it. With the looming thought of her parents never being found, her life as well as many others in danger, not being able to see Sutton or even talking to her, and she was still in denial about Tarryn's death. She wanted this all to stop. She just wanted to stop pretending and she wanted the world to be normal. Her sobs were interrupted when she heard footsteps approaching. She collected herself quickly, wiping away the tears from her face. In walked a shy little first year Gryffindor. Roisin smiled brightly. "Hello! Welcome to the Hufflepuff basement! It might be weird getting used to the height difference, but you'll get used to it. Do you need help settling in?" The girl nodded furiously and Roisin smiled sweetly, helping her. She acted as though she hadn't been sobbing moments before.

This is really ridiculous. We’re people just like everyone else. The bright side is that at least I don’t have to move since I’m already in Hufflepuff…

Are the Hufflepuff dorms nice? I’m a Gryffindor, so I’m used to being high up… I think it might take a while to get used to the basements. Ugh, I’m just so confused right now.

Oh. Yeah, I mean, I think the Hufflepuff basement is really nice. I have been here for 6 years on my life, so I may sound a bit biased. It probably will take some time to get used to the height difference...but I promise it won't be super bad. Just...weird.

I mean...I feel horrible because I remember when I was telling you to go for it, that he really does love you...and then he does this. And..I don't know. I feel guilty. But if you ever do talk to Will sometime soon...um...well...I may...or may not have sort of....gave him a bruise.....

B-but in my defense, he deserved it! He hurt you and I couldn't let him get away with what he did..and his reasoning was just...he just really deserved it.
