To celebrate the fifth edition, I've decided to go open theme this year. Anything and everything that meets the other guidelines for the zine is welcome!

This zine’s final set of deliverables will include a 6.625”x 10.25” inch perfect-bound book, upgraded to hardcover if stretch goals are met.

Page artists are expected to create a single-page illustration or one spread (an image that spans two pages). Accepted comic creators will have up to 10 pages for their comic, including a cover image/page. Accepted writers are expected to write up to 3 poems, with a maximum of 2000 words, or a story/essay up to 3000 words. June 15- September 1Contributor Submission periodSeptember 1- September 16Submission decisions and Print edition selection

This year’s MCC Zines Anthology, 'Between Stars & Shadows,' is Open Themed. Our zines lean toward sci-fi and fantasy, but we're not rigid about genre. 

Submissions should be kept within the zine’s PG-13 rating. LGBTQIA+ content is welcome.

hiyya saw that i missed the deadline for Infinte zine and was wondering if submissions are still accepted since the form is open or not? alsoo is there a timeline or anything for next zines or a schedule followed per year so i can keep an eye out during that time?

Late submissions aren't accepted once the form closes. Digital editions work like a quick run, if you have something that fits the theme or can make something while submissions are open, then it'll be in the Zine. Once the form closes, I put it together and post it on Gumroad.

I don't have a schedule, currently the only two fixed publications are the Holiday and Horns digital zine (submissions will open in a few days) and the annual print anthology, which has a full application process that usually opens at the end of May. The best way to keep up on announcements for submissions is to join the Facebook group or Discord server. Thanks for the ask! 😊
