hc that namgyu sleep talks a lot and thanos will have conversations with namgyu while he sleep talks and usually namgyu's sleeptalking will just be nonsense and thanos has fun responding to namgyu's gibberish and making a bit out of it but one time when they're sleep conversing namgyu rolls over and curls up closer against thanos and just mumbles a sleepy "love you" before he starts snoring again. and thanos doesn't sleep for the rest of the night because that's the first time namgyu has said that to him, and until the sun rises all he can do is replay those words, "love you" in namgyu's voice, over and over and over again, and hope that he'll be able to hear it again soon when namgyu is awake.

hey so I was rewatching squid for like the 9000th time and my korean grandma overheard the scene where thanos and namgyu are bullying myunggi as he was trying to eat, and my grandma was like "WOAH that boy is so rude" talking about namgyu 😭 and I never clocked on that the english subs are slightly inaccurate because they say that namgyu says a simple "No" to myunggi when he asks him to give him back his dosirak. he actually says "싫은데" which in this context would kinda translate to "I don't want to" which is HELLA rude and bratty. I really want to write down a list of the inaccuracies because namgyu really does have attitude and it's fun to see. #mycrumbs

OMGGGG WAAAIIIITTTT I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!!!! omgomgomg tysm for this i absolutely love learning stuff like this 😭😭😭 and like it fits so well with namgyu SKHDFGSK like sometimes he's so polite to others (like when we see him politely thanking the guards when they're getting food LOL) but also he can defs be a little shit, just like this AAAHHHHH namgyu the character you are 😭😭 the whole thanos/namgyu/myunggi fight where was already so childish but THIS makes it even better know that namgyu was just being unreasonably rude and bratty LMAOOO

honestly stuff like this is what makes me sad i dont speak korean and don't have the cultural context, when i watch kdramas i feel like there are so many little things like this that get lost in translation, like daeho's backstory explanation and now this !!! so honestly i would absolutely LOVE to hear about more of these things!!!!! thank you and thank you to your korean grandma for this fr 🙏🙏 감사합니다 !
