Margaret Atwood, from True Stories: Poems; "Variations of the word Love," originally published in 1981
This is what burgers look like in your mind when all the places to get food near you have already closed
Have you ever heard of the ribbon seal (Histriophoca fasciata)? This ornately-patterned marine mammal inhabits frigid waters in the Arctic. It can be found where the water is deep and the sea ice is more dispersed, making it easier to break through. The solitary animal can dive as far as 1,968 ft (600 m) in search of food such as crustaceans, fish, and cephalopods.
