Not fast enough (Hayley/McKenna)

Hayley made sure the other wolves were safely chained down and hurried back towards the murder house in search of her alpha. Something felt very wrong but she couldn’t quite place it. She needed to find Tyler.

Hayley parked her Ducati and got off, heading towards the back of the house as the party continued. She made it to the edge of the woods before she smelled the blood, her stomach knotting slightly. She wrapped an arm around her stomach to help with the pain and continued, stopping short when she saw a woman in the woods by herself.

Before she could help herself, she let out a low growl, stalking towards her.     

              Her eyes opened abruptly, searing pain running through her body.  She could feel every vein in her body as if they were about burst.  She couldn't remember what happened, but knew it must have been serious-because she was in serious pain.  She screamed out in agony and gripped herself tightly.  She looked around and all she could see was trees.  I must be in the woods she thought. She screamed again.  This pain reminded her of childbirth- but where is this pain coming from.

“Yea actually, I had a really good time,” she paused seeing the girls face, “I’m glad Deklan invited me.” She knew the girl was up to something, but didn’t know what.

She smiled at the girl when she said Deklan’s name. “Yeah isn’t he such a nice guy to invite Teen mom out....

What a bitch she thought. She saw her with three different men tonight and she obviously could have any one of them. She wished she would just choose already. How dare her talk about her and her daughter like that. She guess she was just jealous she got to grind with Deklan.

"You don't know me or my daughter. I don't care to listen to your foolishness," she said getting up swiftly to walk away.

This was probably not the best idea to go off into the woods alone, this late at night; but she couldn't stand to look at this girl and not go off on her another minute.

Okay so here I am, sitting here on the porch.  It’s a little cold out here, but not too bad.  I’m not ready to go, but this house doesn’t scream stay either.    I had a good time tonight but I’m not sure what to think of everyone I met.

She saw the girl sitting there on the porch looking oh so sweet and innocent. She saw her come in to the party with Deklan, She couldn’t help herself she had to say something. She walked up on to the porch. “Oh it’s Mckenna right? Have a fun time at the party? Pretty fun right?” She smiled a half smile.

"Yea actually, I had a really good time," she paused seeing the girls face, "I'm glad Deklan invited me."  She knew the girl was up to something, but didn't know what.

Josie laughed, rolling her eyes and taking another sip of her drink, “Hell no, I got talked into this shit. I don’t do parties, I’m more of a wall flower myself. This was supposed to be just some friends and bam! Last time I let anyone talk me into a party! “

“But yeah, I love my little bother he’s awesome! I will definitely bring him, I’m sure he’d love to play with other kids his age and make some new friends,” maybe we could let the two of them have a play date if they get along. “

"Yea, it's definitely not just a few friends anymore girl.  There are a shit ton of people here.  But it seems everyone is having a really good time." she said looking around the room.

"Yes I hope they like each other.  She's a little younger than him, but I bet she'll follow him around like a lost puppy.  Well I'm glad you will be coming.to the party.  I think I better go find Deklan before he thinks I abandoned him."

“Aw, thanks Tyler for worrying about me.  But they may talk big, but I know no one is really interested.  And as for taking advantage of me,I’m not worried I know karate,” she joked.

She brushed her hair over her ear, blushing a little at the very cute boy.  She never imagined she would catch his attention, or anyone else’s for that fact.

“Well, right now my place in this world is getting this drink,” she smiled downing the shot of the fruity liquor.

He quickly poured her another drink of liquor and handed it to her, smiling at he did so. Tyler couldn’t help but smile at everyone when he was drunk, and man was he ever. He shook his head at her comment, confused as to why no one would want her. “I don’t know what you are talking about, McKenna. You’re a pretty girl, stop putting yourself down.” He raised his shot glass in the air as a toast before he downed the shot , “to beautiful people.”

She took the drink happily and downed it even more quickly.  She was only a few drinks in and couldn't wait to loosen up and stop feeling so nervous. 

"Whatever Tyler," she said brushing off his words, "You're drunk.  I'm just gonna sit here at the bar a while."

“you too!” he hollered back at her “make sure to text me when you get home safe or i’m going to worry about you all night.” he wished he could explain things to mckenna… this hole thing must look really bad. first running off with mandie and now leaving with hayley… he laughed to himself i’m such a man whore tonight… but all he could think about was the full moon. he didn’t want to admit it but he was getting kinda nervous about it now.

She watched as he disappeared further and further into woods.  Well this night has been strange she thought- but successful.  That's fine, I'll just sit out here a while.

the fresh air felt nice on his skin. the air was sweet and as soon as he stepped outside he felt a weight lifted from him. “it feels good to be outside… there is something strange about that house don’t you think?” he looked up at the sky and realized that it was getting kinda late… a little to late actually. he needed to find tyler and hayley fast so he could figure out where to go tonight. “i kinda get the feeling you really don’t wanna leave yet… but i really do have to go, unfortunately i have no choice in the matter.” he felt bad making her leave, but he didn’t feel good leaving here there either. he promised to get her home safe to her little girl. he was torn… and it was written all over his face.

"Oh gosh, I needed this," she said taking a deep breath of fresh air, " I was starting to smother in there.  So many people, dancing like crazy, and you ofcourse.  I'm glad you invited me.  Yea, I just feel like sitting out here for a little bit,  I understand if you have to go."

She watched as Haley grabbed him seductively from her, and kinda rolled her eyes just a little bit- she couldn't help it.  A part of her wanted him.

"Hope you have a good night," she hollered after him.

deklan wasn’t as good of a dancer as mckenna but he held his own dancing with her for a couple songs. “you know its getting kinda late… i hate to be a party pooper but i have to go soon. are you gonna be ready to go too my cinderella?” he just rememberd she had said she needed to be home by midnight and wished he had made the cinderella comment earlier… but she was smart… he figured she would get it… even if she was drunk.

She was having a good time watching Deklan try so hard to keep up with her.  But she was having such a good time with it.  Hot and sweaty, she didn't wanna stop dancing- but needed some air.

"Ya, it is getting late.  I think I've almost danced off all my alcohol anway." she said following him hand in hand out to the porch.

Mckenna was dancing her ass off right now and she didn’t care who was watching- mainly because she was an easy drunk.  But nonetheless, she was finally letting loose, having a good time.

She hoped Deklan would see her, but still didn’t know if he was really interested.

deklan walked downstairs to see mckenna tearing up the dance floor. wow… she can really let loose when she drinks… better go make sure she is ok. he made his way down to her and came right up behind her and started dancing with her. as she noticed him he whispered in her ear “you doin’ ok? you look like your having one hell of a time. care if i join you for a bit?” he took a step back to let her turn around a face him if she wanted.

She felt body heat rising up against her and she stuck her ass out a little more to grind into him.  As soon as she did, she immediately smiled at what he was packing.

As he walked around to face her, she knew she was carrying a huge smile and probably red cheeks.  But she finally didn't care, "Hell yeah, dance with me sexy," she said grabbing his hips and dropping it low.  She loved to dance, and this was an area she could really show off at.  But as she looked into his eyes she saw him looking up the stairs at someone else.  That redhead, Mandie.  What does everyone see in that girl.. What does he see in that girl.

“Thanks,” she paused noticing the guy staring at her.  What is it with the guys being the only ones to notice her tonight.  Must be the wings. she laughed.

“You’re Matt’s best friend right?  He’s mentioned you a time or two.  I know him from the video store I work at”

“Yeah, we’re pretty good buddies. Which video store do you work at? I have Netflix so I don’t go out to rent movies anymore.” Josh chuckled a little. Maybe it was the liquor. Who knew. He looked down at his glass and noticed he was almost done. “I need a refill. I’ll show you where the drinks are if you want.”

She looked into his eyes, she could see the pain in them and wondered what this boy had been through.  He seemed nice enough, didn't deserve to be so melancholy.

"I work at the Gorilla.  But yeah- I have Netflix, too." she couldn't stop laughing, til she noticed his stare and then she began blushing.  "Yea, drink, need one.  Let's go, thanks."

She followed the young guy along seeing all the people in the room.  Lovers, haters, and loners-like herself.  Many people wandering from person to person spreading gossip, hugs, and drinks.  She even saw some making out a little heavily.  She wished she had someone to cuddle up to, hug, and drink with.  It's a date- tomorrow- with Kylie.  Chocolate milk and a movie.

Tyler nodded, listening to the girl and trying to avoid Serenity’s dagger like stares from across the room. Damn, couldn’t a guy say hi to an old friend? He gave Mckenna a smile and leaned into her, “Alcohol helps, trust me.” He downed the liquid in his glass and sat it down on the counter. Pointing at her, he tried not to slur his words, “You are  pretty girl. Watch those boys in there, they will take advantage of it. Everyone has got a place in this world, you just gotta find it. Whoa, dude, now I know I’ve had too much to drink. I’m getting philosophical.”

  “Yes, she’s my life.  She’s about to turn two, are you gonna come with Matt to her birthday party?”  She asked to be polite.  She wasn’t sure if she wanted her to come or not, but she really liked Matt and if he was with her there must be something special about her.

Nodding to the blonde, Josie responded, “Yeah sure, I can come with him. I’m sure it will be fun I love kids. They have something special about them, ya know? Innocent, they haven’t seen what dark things the world has to offer yet.” She paused, taking another sip of her drink and trying to shut herself up before she let out too much information to the girl she barely knew. Why was it that was so hard for her to do lately? It’s like she’d been opening up so much more to all her friends and its was just odd. “I have a little brother,” she offered, hoping the girl would be okay with him coming, “He’s 4 and he hasn’t really gotten to make many friends since we’ve moved here.”

"Dark things, yes.  Oh I didn't know you had a little brother.  You should bring him to the party,  too.  I'm just gonna invite some of the kids around the neighborhood, maybe put up a bounce house to lure them."

Maybe Josie wasn't so bad, but she just couldn't shake there was something weird about this girl.  Give her a chance, she would- for Matt.

Josh decided to go to the party anyways. He dressed up like Jasper as a joke so he walked inside and started looking for anyone he knew. He didn’t see anyone yet so he walked into the kitchen and poured himself a big glass of whiskey and started walking around the house. This place almost made him feel calm again. It was strange.

Josh was walking around the house when suddenly a very pretty blonde stopped him to ask where the drinks were. “Uhm..” Josh looked back towards the kitchen and pointed. “All of the liquor and beer is in there.” He was trying to remember if he knew her or not.

“Better with liquor, I sure hope so.  Gmy date.”

Hayley grinned and shook her head a little. “You’re here to have fun, so…relax, enjoy yourself.” She said, tilting her head curiously. “Your date?”

"Yea, I came with Deklan.  Don't ask me why he asked me to come with him, but he's hott- so I agreed.  Gonna try and have a good time.  I don't get many nights like these.
