today has been quite a day. i’ve been feeling a bit “strange” lately and my roommate finally convince me to take a pregnancy test......it came back positive. so, since my morning class got cancel, i’m going to use that time to go get a legit test done at the doctors. even then, i’ll still be on my phone and be back in the afternoon bbs ;) 

i will also be answering all my messages (they have piled up i’m Ashamed) tomorrow while i wait ya know so def message me and keep my poor head occupied.

let’s not talk about how i ended up going to a party friday night and did not get back until 4 am and had to wake up at 7 am to do a ten hour shift and just remember i have a presentation due by tomorrow and i haven’t even started. basically i’m dying, slowly, but i’m on working on my replies bbs

at the words she read, malia let out a laugh. this time, it was not mocking. for once, it was genuine. “ she taught you to respect food but not people ? she had her priorities set straight. “ she teased, picking up more items, struggling to balance them in her arms. she really should have brought her car. malia’s lips open to say something as her eyes lowered to look at the food. for a moment, she said nothing, though, until a few moments later. she almost sounded and looked a little embarrassed as she admitted the following. “ -----------yes. i’m tired of just getting food from restaurants. i want a ‘ homemade ‘ meal. “ which was probably going to come out as a disaster.

the other was observant, malia would give her that. the blonde didn’t quite see it was being distrustful of others. she just did not like to make assumptions. her kills ? planned out until the chance of error was minimal. new people she met ? they all had their own mask. it was those new people that should be suspicious of the wolf in sheep clothing. it was not just a look. her heart had started to become numb. the amount of blood spilled stop bothering her at some point. with a small smirk, she replied, teasing her : i don’t trust easily. i appear cold-hearted. i hate when people try to figure me out. sounds like you’re trying to figure me out already and you don’t even know my name.

He immediately cringed at the loud voice; normally he would not have cared at all, but now that this sleeping child was here, the last thing he wanted to do was have him be woken up. Unfortunately, that was exactly what happened when a cry was elicited from the child’s lips, the bright blue eyes fluttering open, making him sigh heavily. “No, Malia, I just found this baby on the streets and bought a crib for it just so I could play this elaborate prank on you,” he told her sarcastically before leaning over, picking the boy up and rubbing his back lightly. He surprisingly wasn’t all that awkward with him, but that did not mean he particularly enjoyed having to tend to a crying child, whether it was his own or not.

“I only found out about him a month or so ago,” he explained to the other in a low voice, relief settling in now that the baby’s cries were becoming more faint, clearly content in his dad’s hold. “Didn’t really want him at first, but now, here we are,” he mumbled, his eyes flickering towards the infant before looking back at the female. “Why the hell are you looking at him like that?”

the frown intensified. fingers curled tightly around the edge of the crib. one foot even moved backwards at the sight of the baby waking up. she could not hear the baby’s crying, but she could well damn imagine them. being affectionate had never been her forte. hands were too rough to handle something so ----- fragile. some might even call, what she would feel towards a baby, fear. some of it even seeped into her eyes. it was like she was looking at a ticking time bomb. actually, no, not even when she was facing a bomb did she tense up this much. not to mention that it was just awkward for her to stand there and watch valor attempt to calm a crying baby. his baby. that was like her having a child. perhaps once upon a time she had wanted that. that fairy tale had died along with every other one. some things were not meant for people. her hands were too stained with blood for them to hold a child. that was the humanity left in her. she was too focused on the baby to even notice his sarcastic comment. eventually she snapped out of her thoughts and raised a single brow. not quiet knowing what to say. congratulations ? sounded too cliche. “ long-lost child. should i even be surprised. --------------------- looking at him like what ? “
