Her last week in Italy was painful and disturbing. Sienna had paid a visit to her father to find him pinned down on the dinner table in one of the most gruesome scenes she had ever seen. There was a message saying he wouldn’t be the last one— but it was hard knowing who that message was from, if anything, Gino Bianchi had more foes than friends in his lifetime. Her arrangements to move to Las Vegas were precise and quickly made, after her father’s funeral she was inside a private plane which landed in Las Vegas’ airport the very next afternoon. She was tired, but she had to meet with her cousin and protector. Valentino Giamatti— Italian, like herself and family. If there was anything she valued more than her own life, that was family and they were all from the same blood. She was driven directly to Valentino, given the directions as to where to meet him once they had arrived their destination. It was an office? She didn’t know, her mind was blurred, all she could see was him and Sienna waited until they were in private, to let out a shaky sigh. “Cugino,” her lips quivered and tears were quick to fall. “Promise me that whoever did this is gonna meet a slow and painful end.”
The news of Gino’s murder had reached the Giamattis, and Tino had been more than willing to take over with protection detail for his cousin. Of course, The Giamattis and Bianchis weren’t always able to meet face to face, except maybe large family gatherings once or twice a year in Italy, but considering the Giamattis’ home as well as base of operations was Las Vegas, Nevada, it definitely wasn’t often. That doesn’t mean, however that he was distant from Sienna. Family always came first, and no one understood this more than the two Italian families that had been divided into two separate countries. So, of course, Tino would take up the mantle to protect his family, like he’d always done. Arrangements were made, and she was safely on her way to the States in no time. Though Valentino could usually hold meetings in nightclubs, bars, or even restaurants as most of the owners of said establishments were snug in his pocket, this matter was much more delicate and so he opted for a more private venue for the two to meet. He hadn’t been waiting long before she arrived, which is when the two were left alone in a small, bland room. Tino could feel the sadness and rage within her before her tears fell, but he couldn’t do all too much to comfort her. What he could do, was find the bastard who was behind all of his and flay them alive. He sat across a desk from her, but he reached over and placed his hand on hers, a symbol of the promise he was making. “I guarantee it. I’ve already got my guys working on finding out who this mother fucker is, and whenever we do find him, I promise you, I’ll let you have a front row seat to his execution.”
