The question came as a surprise, but Alastor wasn't one to turn down someone offering a favor. "Certainly, could you help me with this?" It was a Hellphone, the latest model. Something he tossed over without a care in the world. "I don't know how to use this contraption. Would you teach me?"

{ OOC } wanted to put this out there bc i saw it mentioned on the dash, but my Charlie doesn't view or see any of the other sins as her uncles or aunts ---- she views them more as people who are also in the same rank as her

Those were things that Morty wasn't sure if he needed to hear or not. Up until this point, he'd just denounce Rick, following Petal along. Experiencing adventures the way it should be. No trauma, being his own person, making decisions when he felt like it. Rick was the least of his concerns. Besides, why even worry about that guy when he had Petal in his life?

Yet, as always, he took her words to heart. She was only trying to be there for him. Show him the way of the world. And with that, came life lessons. Ones that he would thank her for later.

Sat on a rock somewhere, he chewed on his fry and nodded. "Th-Thanks, Petal, I-I guess you're right." It's all he would say for now. Maybe once he processed the words better, he would understand.

For now, he just looked out into the horizon, hoping that she would change the subject.

{ OOC } i'm gonna start slowly remaking this blog and fully switch over to it either in March or April --- depending on when i decide i'm ready to do it. everything will be the same, just better / updated tags, so it's not too much work for me to switch over, but i do wanna clean out the inbox here before i switch over 🤷‍♀️
