LEWIS PULLMAN as Cameron Cassmore in Remarkably Bright Creatures (2026)
My imagination has already ran through WAY TO MANY scenarios for that hand and imagines of those eyes...
Hi, pals! I'll have some free time to myself tonight, so I'm going to pop on across blogs to get to things! Thank you all for your patience 🙏

› prompts from ann patchett's novel the dutch house (2019). feel free to tweak as you see fit.
“i see the past as it actually was.”
“we overlay the present onto the past.”
“we had made a fetish out of our misfortune, fallen in love with it.”
“the point wasn’t whether or not i liked it.”
“the point was it had to be done.”
“do you think it’s possible to ever see the past as it actually was?”
“disappointment comes from expectation.”
“thinking about the past impeded my efforts to be decent in the present.”
“we were all so young, you know.”
“our childhood was a fire.”
“don't expect that anyone will do you the favor of listening if you don't trouble yourself to use your voice.”
“you gotta be smart, have a plan, pay attention to what's going on around you.”
“it’s like you don’t want to be dislodged from your suffering.”
“you don't have to like your work to be good at it.”
“don’t let yourself get upset.”
“it cost me nothing.”
“we didn’t like it but we survived it.”
“you owe me that.”
“there is a finite amount of time.”
“what kind of person leaves their kids?"
“do not put your face in the fucking fire.”
“even in my own house i had no idea what was going on.”
“i was asleep to the world.”
“no anger could survive this, at least no anger i'd ever had.”
“even the stupidest ideas have resonance once they’ve happened.”
“i gave up caring where i lived a long time ago.”
“there was no comfort in me.”
“i would have found you eventually.”
“things changed again after that.”
“i'm just telling you it's unsettling.”
“i haven’t been cruel, believe me.”
“we could have had our lives back.”
PROMPTS FROM GHOSTBUSTERS: THE VIDEO GAME (PART 2) * assorted dialogue i collected as i'm replaying the game, adjust as necessary.
it means you get to carry around a bunch of untested, extremely dangerous hardware that, if not handled correctly, could blow you somewhere into new jersey.
you are aware that we have some... history with them.
our getting stiffed on invites to opening night... just an oversight, right?
i can assure you, it was not an oversight.
are you kidding? you can't buy publicity like this!
oh. have i coughed at the wrong time?
big night tomorrow! get some rest!
so, now that we're all friends... can we get invites to the museum opening?
what ever happened tonight, it started there.
i'll be your personal protection.
stand back!
come on! after them!
all right... take it easy now.
he said take it easy! that's not easy!
how about a little warning next time?
leave a haunted room? i've got no problem with that.
we're trusting you with it.
when do you have the time to work on all this stuff?
i've been conducting an experiment in which i sleep an average 14 minutes a day. leaves me a lot of time to work.
hey, we're up here, to your right!
i'm detecting a strong anomaly here.
uh oh. here comes something big.
did i mention what a good idea you had to come up on the balcony?
how easy was that?
she shushed us again! that witch!
i've got something... right here.
these readings are off the charts. now i'll have to make new charts.
everybody stay close together.
so much for stick together. everybody fan out!
oh no! it's coming your way!
it's dead up here! the good kind, i mean.
someone you've been wanting to meet again is here.
that looked painful.
you may want to just take our word for it.
enough with the shushing!
we need to get out of here.
bingo! you get to buy me dinner!
okay, i'm not saying that's a bad sign... but it sure isn't a good one.
that'll only hurt for a minute.
you hear that? it's around here someplace.
i think they're trying to tell us something.
check this out. i feel a breeze.
oh cool! secret passages! these are great!
i didn't even know this area existed!
she may be more powerful than we thought.
i'm not entirely convinced this is the best course of action.
hey! i'll bet this is a trap!
this is cheery. nice place. nothing bad could ever happen in here.
i'm not clear on how the flanking was supposed to work.
nice. tell us again how lucky we are.
our own private shortcut to hell. how convenient.
i think that would be a safe assumption.
i like what they've done with the place.
where the hell were you guys?
next time, leave a note.
does this mean anything to you?
i'll call for delivery. again.
i know that symbol.

KATY O'BRIAN in Queens of the Dead (2025)
Corpse viewing wasn't what Rocco had in mind probably, but that's what Corbin's decided to sign himself up to. Leslie claps his shoulder, "Good man," said an octave lower for no reason.
"Oh, the—yeah, yeah, they have it. They don't use it 'cause they're used to it, but they'll probably have some stuff for us. It's like—it's got a kick. Menthol-y." For Leslie, it's a hit or miss for the smell; sometimes it just smells like formaldehyde in there and sometimes it's a little soupy and the menthol takes the edge off decomp spectacularly.
"You'll like the coroner." Leslie's talking fast, walking a pace ahead of Corbin and expecting the other to continue following. "Funny guy. From Colorado. Lost his watch in a corpse once."
"O...kay. Good. I dunno if I could, like, raw-dog that the first time." Or any time. He's listened to enough cops talk about the stench of death to freak him the hell out.
Corbin's eyes bug out, an intense, scared stare toward the other before he clears his throat.
"He... lost... his watch... in a... corpse?" Don't ask don't ask don't ask. "Did he find it and, um, wear again?" You shouldn't have asked because you really don't want the answer, idiot.
Hands raised. "—I cannot believe you just asked me that." Offended. Scandalized. Shocked, she's SHOCKED! "It's like you don't even want to get a drink with me, hm."
"I DO wanna have a drink with you. I also want to live."
"Sometimes I get, like…" Flashes. But he doesn't know that word. "Uhh, like, mo…ments where I sort of remember stuff." Kidd nods. "Dunno what it means but, uh, it's cool—I remember," Mimics driving. "Whatever that is." ( @dxsole )
Lex nods along as Kidd speaks, understanding, somehow, what he means. She smiles a little, a reassuring gesture, just to encourage him.
"That's good! Really good. Your memories are returning." She can't imagine not having them herself. How horrible it would be. Her empathy doesn't stop just there either; something about the guy reminds her of her little brother.
"Driving?" She imitates the movement. "Like in a car? If so, and you wanna try again, we can take Rocco's and go out."
Squints. "So they call you Batman too, huh?" Hank has no license to feel possessive over the name…and yet: "Do you have the costume. 'Cause I do. I look bomb as hell." ( @dxsole )
He chuckles, shaking his head as he watches Rocco, Dunkies, and Rad drunkenly wander off to go cause more trouble elsewhere. George takes a sip from his beer and shakes his head a bit.
"Nah, not really. It's just them, particularly when they imbibe, you know?" George has to laugh again. It's so dumb. "My last name's Nolan, so Rad-- actually, maybe Rocco? Anyway-- one of them correlated that with the director of The Dark Knight, and since we share the last name, I became Batman." Another swig from the bottle. "Or that's my best, most educated guess." A nod. "That's cool as shit, man. I'd probably look stupid as hell if I had one."
Corbin inhales, like he's about to say something—Didi presses a finger to his lips. "You don't have to say anything, hm. I feel it too." Nods, delusional. "Raw animal magnetism." Finger pointing between the two of them, eyebrows wagging. ( @dxsole )
He's generally used to being cut off from speaking verbally; his friends are big personalities, it's easy to get lost in that. But this... The finger to the lips... That's a first. It does as intended, stunning Corbin to silence for a moment, his eyes bulged, a look of confusion mixed with slight terror in them.
Being the polite guy he is, he doesn't push Didi's hand away, but instead just takes a step back to detach from her touch.
"Oh, um. I don't think-- Miss Didi, I think you've gotten your animal vibes mixed up." Corbin takes another, much more subtle step away. "It's more a fear than anythin' else." He nods. "Not that you're not attractive or anythin'. You are quite beautiful, but you are scary."
Mouthing, "I am going to fucking kill you," from across the way ( @dxsole )
What a scamp. He's frightened, he is, but he's also kind of... stupid.
Mouths back, 'Love you too, boo boo.'
