Just started doing this. Ive joined all my odd ends of wool together and have started to crochet. ..all the wool in this is a bit too rough to be used as a blanket so I am going to keep going until its big enough to fit on my chair and use it as an seat cover. Love how there is no pattern to this and all the colours are random

Got over the wonky turning of my crochet blanket. .. by turning my work over after each round. Wahooooo

The small pink and white one is a small baby blanket without turning my work.

The pastel coloured one is my second attempt. Its so square and neat and is using the method of turning my work as I go.
