Ok so you see right I was 29th. Then I went on a huge losing streak like 2 hours before reset and actually lost my head and it was just downhill from there

But tbh Im not too disappointed? I wasn't expecting gm1 it's really difficult to get even a single time and its only my first ever time attempting it. (And people RARELY get it on their first attempt)

But I think I fought well LMAO idk if I can even say that its crk but I did try very hard to fight my way up and I mean I was able to give some top players a real run for their money which. Idk is it wrong to be happy about that

I mean in the end I didn't really stand a huge chance so roughly 45 minutes before reset I completely gave up on gm1 but kept fighting just for rank, but highkey I kept losing and genuinely lost my mind so I dropped to 49th and decided "screw this" and stayed there LOL. I probably could have pushed higher but then like 5 min before reset someone with a bait team showed up on my list and I was like. "I could put my favourite in the hall of glory." So I attacked them with Stardust (and salt just in case) and then just afked till reset.

I think I tried my best but I just didn't have the experience most gm1s do (nor the money...).

I mean, this was my spreadsheet which definitely could have been cleaner and I could have found some better counters (ok I realise this doesn't do it justice but theres 197 entries and I had clean counters for maybe 120 of them)

Whats cool is right before reset a bunch of us who knew we wouldn't make gm1 ended up moving to the top 100 server and cheering people on, idk nice community thing ig. The person in the picture at the start "TheFailTime" has never made gm1 before but this is their second attempt at it and we were all spamming the chat cheering for them to make top 30 (genuinely rip to them because their last battle didn't count due to lag delaying the end so they might have made it since they were only 7 trophies away)

I think I could definitely do better on a second attempt because I did screw a few things up this season, I ran out of revenges with more than an hour left in the season which stuck me in a bad position and crashing out over my losing streaks definitely didn't help 💀💀

No but seriously this gave me mad respect for all the gm1s because this is genuinely insane during the last 3 hours it was like a mad rush of 60+ people fighting nonstop for top 30 and I cannot fathom doing this monthly like regular gm1s are terrifying

But overall I'm pretty happy with this its a personal best by quite a bit (#68 -> #49, 10.469k -> 12.119k)

Little thing is back when I first started back in 2021 me and my friends would look at the leaderboards and joke that "we're never making it to master 1" "forget master one we won't even make it to diamond 1" (back then master 1 was the highest tier yes ik Im old)

They all quit the game a while ago but hey. I managed to do what we all thought was impossible and more. 49th in the world isnt exactly something to be upset about

I likely won't attempt gm1 again for a while, Ive got exams and stuff coming up so thats gonna suck for a while, if I do attempt again it'll be near end of 2026/start of 2027 but for now I likely won't even fight for top 50, might camp out around low leaderboard/gm2 this was exhausting 💀💀💀

You are Correct. I like to think Sec would vibe with Ghost. The little shit would enjoy being thrown like an unexpected-bug-on-your-hand. Ghost would teach them things that'd annoy Hornet to no end.

Something very funny to me about Hornet-to-Sec height difference being basically the same as the Sec-to-Hollow one. Sec, internally: Ah, this sentinel hopes its height does not cause the Hunter any trouble nor discomfort. Hornet: So this is my second oldest sibling. Sec, drawing a cross on its chest, suddenly thrusted into very potent and real empathy for Hornet's neck: Understood and noted.
