Or master lists, questions, asks, etc. I get you want your writing to be seen but being a total nuisance to the people who use the search functions for their favorite characters isn't a good way to go about it.

is all breathy laughs and soft smiles as he pulls away, placing a chaste peck to the corner of your mouth before he drops his forehead to rest against your collarbone. “just a second,” he sighs, but doesn’t retract his hands from where they hold onto your hips in order to ground himself. having your weight rested against him/on him allows him to relax quicker. usually regains himself rather quickly and occasionally presses kisses to your collarbone to calm himself down. very much appreciates you running your hands through his hair because it helps him a lot.
HAITANI RINDOU
doesn’t normally tell you verbally that he needs to stop, but when you go to lean in again and he leans away that’s your sign he needs a minute. he gets uncharacteristically shy about it, no matter how many times you tell him he doesn’t have to be. likes to press your foreheads together as he takes in deep breaths, matching your inhales. please cradle his face in your hands and rub your thumbs over his cheekbones, it helps settle him down and ease himself out. kisses you without warning when he’s ready to go again and smirks against your lips if it catches you off guard.
KAWATA SOUYA
he’s another who won’t tell you verbally that he needs a short break from all the kissing. he’ll just turn his head away and drop it in order to bury his face into your neck. his cheeks are warm against your throat as you ask him if he’s alright and he’ll offer a quiet yes and a request for a “minute” mumbled against your skin. sometimes it takes him a while, in these cases it’s best if you just rub his back. he’s pouty as he raises his head back up and grunts a sorry into your mouth before resuming. please remind him he doesn’t need to apologize.
HANEMIYA KAZUTORA
he’s stuttering and blushing and fumbling with his hands on your thighs like crazy as he kisses you and pulls away like he isn’t sure if he really needs a break or not. more times than not you’ll have to remind him with a hand to his cheek that it’s okay, you can slow down if you need to, and the relief in his eyes is immediate. still likes having you close so don’t expect to move while he collects himself again. mumbles out lots of thank yous as he hugs you to his chest. you’ll know when he’s ready because he’ll give you a look, all wide eyed and smiley pout, as he tries to reach for your lips again.
MATSUNO CHIFUYU
he has tells while he’s kissing that tell you before he does that he needs a break. he shifts a lot, gets restless with his hands, and breaks the kiss more and more before he finally leans back altogether and with a sheepish little grin he grabs your hand and says, “woo, takin’ a lot outta me.” he needs a little space sometimes while he gathers his wits back about him, but for the love of god don’t you dare let go of his hand. if you do he’ll refuse you to kiss you again out of pure spite. he needs to start slower and work back into the groove, but it doesn’t take long for him to get comfortable against your lips again.
SHIBA HAKKAI
he takes a lot of quick spurts, like he knows he needs to stop but doesn’t want to. is all “wait, wait…okay” then goes back to kissing you, then a minute later he’s yanking back again. you’re going to have to pin his hands down and tell him to take a breather because it’s obvious he’s running himself ragged. he blushes like crazy as you hold him down but that doesn’t stop him from spewing out some cheesy remark of “how pretty you look like this.” once he gives himself a proper break it doesn’t take long for him to go again. and when the time comes he’ll give you a nod and a dopey smile as he breaks his hands free and tugs you down to his lips.

The love that blooms after knowing someone for your whole life has deep roots. At each passing joke, each secret smile, each poorly coded statement of desire, it weaves farther in. Slowly, tendrils loop around your lungs, your heart, your brain, until it’s there—squeezing, irremovable. Insatiable. So close and yet just beyond the farthest reach of your longest finger: Hanemiya Kazutora, brother of your best friend.
You hadn’t been sure how to react when your friend told you he’d be going to the lake with you this weekend. As much as you wanted to let yourself be excited, you found yourself radiating nervous energy as you picked out what to bring, as you got into the truck with them, and even as you all settled into the calm silence of the evening, it’d only barely gone away.
Now, you’re staring up at the sky. The ground is cool on your back, the air light and warm on your face. Even despite the slight overcast, the sky is littered with stars; they’re obscured further still by branches spreading from the edges of the clearing, seeming to reach ever-farther, to want to touch from across the distance. You hear your friend humming as they prepare to turn in for the night, accompanied by the push of the breeze through those wanting branches.
Kazutora is lying beside you. Even without looking, you’d know it’s him. You can smell his cedarwood deodorant, hear his steady breathing, feel his eyes on you. He’s the type of person whose gazes are always heavy. You can feel them through windows, across entire rooms. If you fell asleep beside him, you’d feel it then, too—weighty and hot and wordlessly expectant. You can practically hear him saying it: look at me.
So you do. There he is, just as you expect. His eyes are practically glowing in the dim light from the fire: golden and alight with mischief.
“Hey,” he says. “Tired?”
You pause. Already, you know this must be leading somewhere. It usually is. “Not really.”
His smile, which had been relatively small before, broadens, spreading over his face like ink into fabric. His eyes, too, widen a little, and he leans forward on his elbow.
“Wanna go for a swim?”
Between his words, you can hear them: your racing thoughts. What about your friend? Should you really be doing this? What does he want?
What does he want?
You glance back to see that your friend has already laid down, likely close to sleep. Sighing, you push yourself to sit up, and, after gathering your things, you follow him down to the rocky shore.
The air doesn’t change as you two change into your suits side-by-side. Neither of you glances at the other, and the darkness vignettes the space between you, so that even if you did, surely you’d only see his face. Once you’re in the water though, it matters even less.
You feel his warmth as you pass each other in the water, wading until you have to swim. His skin is smooth when he brushes against you; he does it over and over, intentional and direct flicks of his hands and feet over your body through the water. These motions were so frequent, so constant, that it doesn’t take you by surprise at all when he passes behind you, fingers grazing the bare skin on your back. When he stops beside you, chin all but pressed to your shoulder.
“I know this weekend was just meant for you two,” he begins, nodding back towards the campsite. “But I was on my knees begging to come. You know why?”
You peer up at him. He looks pretty: hair slick and wet against his forehead and neck, cheeks pink from the cool water, only barely illuminated by the moon and its reflection on the placid water. You can see the scenery mirrored in his eyes when he comes closer. His breath is warm, you realize.
“Why?” you ask finally. It’s barely audible; it blends with the soft lap of the waves and spins up into the night sky, but he hears you well enough.
“I knew I’d be able to get you alone,” he whispers, that devilish grin returning. “That sounds kinda bad, doesn’t it?” He tosses his head to the side and chuckles. “Not like that, I swear.”
Turning your head, you meet his eyes again. Your body feels loose with comfort, and, almost mindlessly, you draw your hands out of the water and to his bare shoulders.
“I get it,” you promise.
The two of you just look at each other then. The space between you is buzzing with little laughs, bouncing off of the surface of the lake and bubbling against your faces. It’s not nervous laughter, though. It’s warm and sweet, like a mouthful of tea, a fingertip dipped in sugar.
He comes in closer, bumping your nose with his before meeting your lips. His mouth is warm, too, despite the cooling night air and the water. The kiss is slow and long, but it stays shallow, almost timidly so—as if moving further would make the moment end as quickly as breaking away.
The moment, moments, come to an end on their own, of course, and you stare silently at each other for a few more. Then, wordlessly, you return to the shore, intertwined.

Kazutora wakes up in a cold sweat, echoes of shouting from his childhood ringing in his ears.
