Terrible news about tumblr
Tumblr has decided to remove all porn/explicit content from its sites. After December 17th, any explicit posts will be flagged and deleted by algorithms. For now, Tumblr is emailing users who have posted adult content flagged by algorithms and notifying them that their content will soon be hidden from view. Posts with porn content will be set to private, which will prevent them from being reblogged or shared elsewhere in the Tumblr community.
This means, I think, that my tumblr will be going away. Just today, all of my posts have been flagged as explicit, and tumblr will limit future posts.
This makes me so sad, you guys. I’ve had this tumblr for a few years now, and it has brought me a lot of fun and pleasure. I hope it has brought you all fun and pleasure, too. Your support and messages and likes have made me feel sexy and special, and losing my blog hurts, a lot. Apparently, the internet just can’t handle the human body, especially the female body, in an unrestrained form. It’s explicitly banning “female-presenting nipples”, which is RIDICULOUS and beyond sexist.
I don’t know what my full options are for a new blog. But if I can find a good, new home for mealsreadytoeat, I will let you all know and hope that you come with me.
