No I'm not really overprotective, but if you touch her I'll end your bloodline
"i'm sorry. you really expect me to believe ghosts exist?" strange question coming from someone that literally hunted werewolves and other supernatural creatures, but ghosts?

» ⋆ — ˟┊dark brow quirks when he scoffs. if that wasn't tell enough then she was a monkey's aunt. she had to hum to herself as she came to realize that she was correct. he was jealous. "you're not wrong, i could kill them. if i wanted to. but you said that you don't like the way they're looking at me. why should you care how someone looks at me, unless of course you're jealous for some reason.
he couldn't possibly deny her logic. at least she believed he couldn't. she moved to stand in front of him now, eyes locked on his. she wasn't concerned with the person whose attention she'd garnered. she wanted seth's full attention. "tell me why you care so much, or i'm going over there.┊˟
is this how they felt before death? heart beating fast in their chest. like a cornered animal. he had no place to go right now. and so what if he got a little bit pissed when she stated she'd go over there to them. to someone that wasn't him. his arm moved to grip hers as if holding her there. yet not a strong enough grip that she couldn't get away from him if she really wanted to. he pulled her closer to him, own legs parting to get her closer. "i don't get jealous." he spoke each word slowly, his hand snaking up her back to her neck, pushing gently until their lips touched. "why would i be jealous of them when you're so clearly mine?"
» ⋆ — ˟┊of course he felt invincible. their families had encouraged such opinions. enforced a grooling daily training regime that made it easy to believe. but he wasn't. none of them were. "but you're not," she tried to reinforce. though she doubted she would be successful in that moment. she had learned that he could be quite stubborn. but so could she.
"who's fault is that?" she murmured under her breath. there had to have been some reason why they hadn't gone on a hunt together, or even in a larger group. and there it was. "so you need me to be the bait." it almost sounded accusatory.┊˟
who's fault is that. yeah, he deserved that one. he usually preferred to go alone. even though it was always recommended they went with a partner. "bait?" he frowned, shaking his head. "i said i needed you to be a distraction. for me, not them." did that make sense? was that his way of flirting with her? absolutely. if she was there, seth would absolutely do anything to try to protect her. and he needed that. after almost dying, he absolutely needed something that could hold his attention. because if something happened again, he knew that would mean he'd have to train even more. harder.
but if she was there to distract him and he did well? then it would prove it was just a fluke.
» ⋆ — ˟┊maeve rolled her eyes at his attitude. "don't act like you're invincible, seth. you're human, just like the rest of us." he was just like the rest of the hunters she knew. over confident in their abilities, and absolutely smug about it. she wondered why she had such a huge crush on him. she hated the way he acted. hated what he did. what they did.
"me?" that was a shock. her brows knitted together in confusion. "why?" what exactly could she do to help him? bait. that was what she was good at, apparently. one arm untwinded itself from her body, fingers coming up to pinch at the bridge of her nose. "why not literally anyone else?"┊˟
he shrugged in response. "i feel like i am sometimes." and other times he locked himself in his room crying silently. but no one was to know that. and it wasn't over every kill. just the innocent ones. but he was never the one to do that. had outright refused and he was too good that no one really questioned it. someone else took care of them.
"yes, you." seth wanted to laugh at her but refrained. "i don't think i've had the pleasure of hunting with you. wanna see what you got." and maybe it was an excuse to spend time with her. you couldn't really call a hunt a date, but seth also didn't know how to date. not without it ending in a kill. and he couldn't kill her for obvious reasons. "besides, i need a good distraction and you could provide a very useful distraction."
she was nearly in the window when cadence pulled her in. "i know, i know!" iris whispered. she knew the stakes, but she was bored and jeez, it wasn't like she couldn't get the hell out on all fours if she had to. maybe she should have been more worried, but she wasn't at all. "i had to see you, okay. we don't have to stay here if you're gonna freak though." they could go somewhere else, irisi's car was parked halfway down the road. she hadn't wanted anyone to hear her coming.
"you know." but iris still chose to climb through her window - in a house full of hunters. if anyone walked into her room they'd question how iris got there. humans wouldn't climb a window. usually. cadence could lie and say iris was a hunter too, right? but then they'd want to know what family. and they'd probably then find out... she needed to stop freaking out. iris was here and she needed to stop freaking out. "yeah, we can go..." where was a safe place to go? "there's a diner. other side of town. may's diner. meet me there, okay? i should be there in ten minutes."
@measuredstorm said | "I don't like them looking at you like that.."
» ⋆ — ˟┊maeve glanced at seth through the corner of her eye. growing up with him. training with him. she had even developed one of those childish crushes on her best friend's brother. how fucking cliche. and now it seemed like he was -- jealous?
she set her hand on his forearm. an attempt to calm him. "you're not jealous, are you seth?" what other explanation was there -- except maybe that he saw her as a little sister. she would die from embarrassment if that were the case.┊˟
"jealous." seth scoffed. the idea was laughable, wasn't it? but with her hand resting on his arm, his breathing more even than it's been in months... no. no, he couldn't be jealous. could he?
"i just... no one should look at you that way. not when you can easily kill them and they don't even realize that. besides," seth cleared his throat. "what's there to be jealous of, mae?" he knew about her crush. of course he knew. he was trained to read people. and she may try to hide it, but she was easy to read. and so maybe he did like her back. a little bit. but there was no way he could be with her. not right now. right?
» ⋆ — ˟┊maeve slid into the booth and let her body fall into the seat rather roughly. "we've trained to fight against creatures -- do you really think you'd be able to use that knowledge against your own parents? against seth?" her words were just as hushed as cadence's.
the brunette scoffed. "we're more than not cut out for it, cade." it was abysmal, what the other hunters were doing. "we can't be the first to think that this is all wrong." she refused to believe that they were the first to realize the mistakes of their families. and if she had to, she would do whatever research she needed to in order to find out.
"since you seem to be the one with the plan, how do you expect us to make money to survive?" how would they do anything without being found by their families?┊˟
"if i had to." it was said with such conviction - but cadence didn't believe it. she'd let them kill her. well, she'd fight, but in the end she knew she wouldn't win against them. but maeve was right, wasn't she? they couldn't be the first. in all the generations there was no way they were the first.
but where were those family members at? those friends at. future allies. there had to be something one of their families had of who essentially betrayed them.
"easy," cadence started, "we get small jobs here and there. i'm sure there are restaurants hiring. we save up enough. figure out where we wanna go. i'm sure we can find someone that can get us fake ids or something." anything where they could change their names. hell, cadence would dye her hair if it came down to it.
"it's gonna be a lot of planning. but we'll get there." she had to be hopeful of that.
currently only have 2 opens but come check ‘em out?

» ⋆ — ˟┊maeve folded her arms over her chest, an unimpressed look marring her pale features. "maybe you shouldn't play it so risky out there." maybe she should have just stood there in silence. she knew seth -- knew that he could play things a little too close with the supernatural world. "was it a creature, or human that almost got you?" or was it his reckless stupidity that had almost done him in this time.┊˟
"risky." seth snorted. though he supposes it was risky to flirt with something you were just going to kill for fun. but it wasn't even fun. maybe the first few kills. now? now it was just a part of him. shoot first, questions later. and sometimes you had to befriend one. it usually didn't take long. just a couple weeks. most were social creatures. liked being around people which made it even easier. "please," seth scoffed as if the idea of another human almost taking him out was laughable. because it was. he could take down most creatures alone. another human didn't scare him. "those vile creatures almost got the best of me. but never again." he shook his head. "i was actually hoping for your help with one of my next kills."
A smirk filled Leo's face when it was clear that the young hunter was too tipsy to even realize what he was implying, at least not yet. "Oh I have a way for you to get a pair just like this" He grinned, showing off his teeth and the naughty idea of giving Seth 'The Bite' took hold. But it was just a naughty little thought, for now. His tongue sliding across Seth's neck, breath hot against his lips found Seth's again in a deeper kiss, teasingly grinding his hips and his ass against Seth's body.
He made short work of Seth's shirt, ripping it open so buttons went flying with his werewolf strength. "Oh yeah, you wanna treat from me?" He purred out, as his hips and ass kept rolling while one hand slid slowly down Seth's chest and past his waistband and began to teasingly squeeze and stroke him through his boxers. His other hand pressed to the bed so he could lean down and catch those lips in a dirty kiss. "What kind of treat does my favourite human want, hm?"
head tilted back slightly as the others tongue ran along his neck before the other was kissing him again. "fuck!" he moaned out, eyes falling shut as the other started stroking his cock. "wanna feel you in me. it's been months, man. months since i've had someone in me. wanna feel that again."
god he hadn't realized how desperate he was. and the alcohol certainly didn't help him. he was always horny when he was drunk which was why he didn't drink often. but he had also needed one night - just one night to completely let go. seth bucked his hips up, trying to get more. that's all he could think about right now was more, more, more. he bit down on the others bottom lip and gave a tug. "my treats gonna be you cumming in me or on me, i'm not fucking picky right now."
Would anything make you keep it longer Seth? Perhaps deep down you'd love to own one or two.
"own one, huh?" he smirked. "knowing that that's an option... well, i may end up having to do that. good way to torture it and find new methods."
For a moment they didn’t say anything to the comment about the costume, just a coy grin on their lips as they leaned down and caught Seth’s lips in a kiss that started off slow, but then deepened with every passing moment. Making sure to tease the other by rolling his hips into him as well, the passion and heated sensation building between them until he pulled his lips away, still so close to Seth. “Costume?” He murmured, amusement in his voice as he straddled Seth’s lap and slid his hands across his chest.
“You think someone from a family of hunters could tell the difference between a costume and a real wolf” He hummed, parting his lips to show those sharper, canine like fangs and his eyes began to glow a little in the low lighting of the room. “Guess the real question is, am I your trick or your treat tonight?”
seth kissed back eagerly, moan falling from his lips as the other rolled his hips. and tried ignoring the whine that fell when the other stopped kissing him. a nod followed the others words, "ten out of ten on the costume." seth murmured.
and maybe if he wasn't as drunk as he was, he would have fully gathered what the other had said about being from a family of hunters. even still, his fingers gently poked at the others fangs. "mm... i don't... i don't know how you did the trick with your eyes but you're gonna have to hit me up after this." it could come in handy as a trap, wouldn't it?
seth hiccuped, hands moving to start taking off his shirt. "been a while since i've been able to have some fun with someone, so a treat would be fuckin' great." he leaned forward, capturing the others lips again.
replies will be worked on tomorrow night from 4pm-monday sometime. across all the blogs i can.
» ⋆ — ˟┊she was quick to follow -- anything to leave behind these meetings. she didn't care what the plan was. she wanted no part of it. but they didn't care. they never cared about anything except for accomplishing the mission. to wipe out all supernatural creatures and 'protect' humanity. what was so great about humanity if they couldn't be accepting of others -- some of these creatures used to be humans.
maeve blew out a heavy sigh. she had thought about leaving so many times, but she never did. perhaps it was out of fear of what her family would do, or perhaps it was because she was so unsure of her ability to truly shake everything she had been taught. she already knew she didn't want anything to do with the hunting life, but she didn't know anything else. this was it.
the brunette quirked a brow. "acquaintances?" had she really been fraternizing with the enemy? -- case in point. she had to stop thinking of them as enemies if she was going to shed the hunter view point. "d'you really think they'd take in two hunters? what if our families come looking for us?"┊˟
it was possibly a dumb idea. cadence knew that. but it wouldn't kill them to try, would it?
once there and after ordering their food, cadence walked over to a table, sitting down and lowering her voice. "we've trained. we'll continue to train. learn what some of them know. we'll be fine. we might lose some if not all of our families, but we'll survive." she shrugged. she had faith that seth would still talk to her. somehow. although knowing how he was, it wasn't likely. but they did have a really good sibling bond, so she definitely had faith.
"let's be honest with ourselves. we're not cut out for this. not the way they're doing it. it's... horrendous. i can't keep pretending like we're not killing people that have done no wrong. and i don't want to be on the wrong side of history."
