Sign-ups and Claiming for HP Hedonism Fest 2026
Hello, everyone!
The time has come! Claiming starts today!
Before you sign up for our fest, please remember that due to the nature of this 18+ fest, the prompts often deal with mature subjects and the participants are responsible for curating their own experiences within the fest. This applies to viewing the prompts list, which is uncensored.
Check out our rules and FAQ in a separate document -here- or in a tumblr post -here- to help you with claiming.
To sum up:
First of all: CLAIMING is a first come, first serve process.
Every prompt can be claimed ONCE for fanfiction and ONCE for fanart.
After you join the fest, you’ll be invited to our HP Hedonism Fest discord server where you'll be able to talk about your prompt with your fellow creators.
Don’t hesitate to message us here on out tumblr or on [email protected] with any questions you might have.
Because the prompts are distributed on the first come first served basis, please, choose three preferred prompts for maximum satisfaction.

You will be able to claim ONE prompt during the Claiming period (April 6th – August 8th). The work submission deadline is August 9th. Once you finish, please submit your work to the Fest collection -HERE-. If you finish and submit your work early, you can claim another prompt. We will not list the claimers name on the prompt list.

After you sign-up for the fest/claim your prompt, the fest mods will get back to you via e-mail with the confirmation of your prompt. This informal survey aims to gather statistics on the length and completion status readers on AO3 prefer for fanfic. The survey is not aff
I put together a relatively short survey (about two dozen questions, mostly multiple choice, all optional) to get some data on what fic lengths and completion statuses readers on AO3 prefer or avoid. If I get enough answers to have a good sample size, it should give us some insight into how people search and read on the archive.
If you find this interesting, feel free to share it with AO3 users elsewhere or post it to other platforms. I'd like to get a good crossection of readers that isn't biased by platform, if at all possible.
The survey is just for fun/curiosity, and isn't associated with any university, company, or other entity. It's just me asking you this stuff here :)
I'm not putting a deadline on this, I'll just let it run until I've got some good numbers, but whenever I do have enough I'll post the results here. You can track this post to watch for that update.
