Kind of?? yapping about pro-c MAPs, since I have stuff to make clear, but it's probably very messy, because I just got back home from work and despite being tired can't fall asleep. So I apologize for spelling/grammatical mistakes. TL;DR at the end.
Recently I've seen a lot of posts (both from antis and radqueers) "if you think minors can consent to sexual activity - block me". I'm not here to change ones mind, such statement is reasonable. I just want to say - if you fully believe that anyone below the age of 18 can't consent, block me for your own comfort. But read further before sending me threats please.
It is silly of me, but majority of my moral stances are based on law in my country. Not just are the same, I mean I read some laws and decided, yes, that's what I belive from now on forever or until the law changes. I have my reasons to why, but I won't be sharing them here, not a point.
It's important to note that, because age of consent in Poland (so where I live) is 15. As long as all parties areover this age you can engade in sexual activity with each other. So? Based on that I do believe that that minors 15 and older can consent.
I know there are countries where age of consent is higher - that I find reasonable as well. There are also the ones where it's lower - that I do find weird, even if technically legal there I have negative attitude towards it.
I'm not knowladgeble on psychology, sexuology, etc. I don't know if 15 is a good age to start sexual activity. I also have no experience myself - I'm a virgin in aro spectrum that refuses to have kids ever, I literally could not care less about having sex myself (I will do it for my parter, but that's it). When I was chrono15-17, people around me were sleeping around. Back then it did not seem like there were any "negative effects" (only one being unsatisfied, but that happens at any age). Did that change now, that we are over 20? I have no way of knowing, I don't talk with them anymore. But I do believe that people who knew at least a little bit about this stuff picked such age for a reason.
I'm not touching being transage, age regression, alters age (even this this scenario is the one I'm in) and stuff like that, simply because it's not recognized by law. I'm also very new to learning about all the mentioned, I don't know enough to make a stance myself.
And now I don't know how to end it...
TL;DR - I belive that minors over the age of 15 are capable of consenting to sexual activities. My girlfriend, while being a chrono minor, is over this age, so when we'll meet we do have plans to do such stuff. If that contradict with your believes or simply makes you uncomfortable - block me, feel free to request me to block you as well if you want. No amount of threats will change my mind, since I'm basing this belief on the law in my country - whether you like it or not, it's legal here.
