My 1st year at the academy (a short resume)

So, I have to be honest and say to you guys that it was not a great year for me. I had a lot of health problems…. First, in October, I had appendicitis and I had to have an emergency surgery in Russia, what made me stop for three months. It was an awful time for me, but luckily is now in the past. I also had some other minor injuries, but that’s normal… But I wasn’t all bad! As you know, I was put in to the russian class, and I was very happy! Also, in the beginning of October, I was chosen to dance with the Stanislavky Ballet Company in Moscow the ballet La Bayadere (dancing as corps in the shades act). As you imagine that was an amazing opportunity for me and I loved it! Other amazing thing about my year was the opportunity to watch the Bolshoi ballet live several times (from the back stage and from the audience)! It was all amazing (I watched Spartacus, Ivan the Terrible (twice) and Flames of Paris). I also watched Paris Opera dancing Paquita in the Bolshoi Theater ! Other high point of my year was the opportunity to work with my teacher several variations from Paquita! And I made a lot of friends! All amazing! So that’s my year in a resume!

Omg guys! I’m so embraced ! With all the academy activities and all that happened this last year, I had absolutely no time to post any thing! And now I just remembered when I received an email saying that today is my blogs anniversary! I really feel so bad about forgetting to post for you guys! Now that I remember, I will try to post as much as I can, and tell you everything about my year and life in the Bolshoi Ballet Academy!

Oh wow that's do great that you've been accepted to the Bolshoi. I hope you really excel! I'm a modern dancer from Trinidad and Tobago and i absolutely love dance as well. All the best!
