No better time for a well earned late night (well, morning) snack. One that Lambda is all too happy to treat himself to, cramming fries in his face by the fistful and savoring each salty bite. There is, of course, a familiar copper tang but that's to be expected.

There's only so much blood you can clean off when you're in a diner with no bathroom and all you've got is a half full napkin holder. Gets the job done well enough but crimson red can be persistent and likes to cling to your fingers.

It's delicious in spite of that.

"Oh shit! Almost forgot about my milkshake!" Thin, claw tipped fingers reach for blessed vanilla fudge swirl.

Satisfaction.

Reclining in the plush seat of the booth, content with a full stomach and a sweet treat. And for a little while, he can pretend that everything is normal and like he hadn’t shambled in there completely soaked head to toe in deep, dark red.
