My headcannon is that unraveled Aluminja is just a bigger foyal with a little more details. In its doodlepedia entry it is stated that they choose to keep its humanoid form, but I like to think that when they feel safe, they leave behind that intimidating appereance because they dont need it.

Lila the smeargle!

Lila is a rookie explorer who recently joined the Team Creation explorer guild with her best friend Blade. She has an outgoing and curious personality.

She's working hard to achieve her dream of learning all the legendary techniques mentioned in a mysterious book she found in her house. However, what intrigues her most is what was written on the last two pages, which were torn out. She thinks that if she takes the same journey as that enigmatic smeargle in the book, she'll discover what those missing pages were hiding. What she doesn't know is that she's more connected to the whole thing than she seems, and perhaps she'll also discover why her mark on her back looks different from the rest of the smeargles...
