Do you agree with the idea that “technology shrinks the world?”

Globalization: the process by which businesses or other organizations develop international influence or start operating on an international scale. In order to grow, countries needed to begin to globalize and connect with one another. We have now come to a point where we have grown so much that everything has been opened to communication. In reference to globalization, yes our world is technically shrinking. We are becoming an interconnected world and as a result we are getting smaller. Everything has become easy access, traveling across the world is not such a big deal if you have the means for it.

Technology is not a bad thing, it is helping advance our world to accomplish things that may never have been possible without it. Technology is all throughout the world and is the path which will lead us into the future. It is way for family and friends to talk to one another and for people to communicate who would otherwise be unable to. Technology can be viewed as shrinking but not in a bad sense, rather a more technical one.
