OFFSET: FATHER OF 4

What’s poppin everybody back in this bitch with another one. Shoutout to the new undisputed champ of the MIGOS for providing us with some  flavor to start the  year off right. He starts us off with FATHER OF 4 featuring the homie  Big Rabe with clean little intro promise. This song is perfect for the intro because he gets personal with us and basically takes the bulletproof vest off making himself vulnerable. Next track he sets shit on fire with the HOW DID I GET HERE featuring the legendary Jermaine Cole. Nothing like a quick banger to lead us into the heart and soul of the album. I love the beat he uses on this it’s upbeat but mild at the same time, almost like mild lemon pepper on the beat, a perfect beat for Cole to go crazy on which of course he does. He goes crazy but I give credit to Offset because I remember  Offset verse in the track which usually doesn’t happen when you hop on Cole track. One of my favorite tracks on the project we are going to get into is MADE MEN. Offset really showing everyone he undisputed best Migo on this one. “ I was drippin when I came in, In the trap like a caveman.” He comes in with a freaky high level of energy and keeps that same level of energy throughout the whole song. The beat is your standard fye trap beat  with heavy bass and, the lyrics mesh flawlessly with this beat. This album is actually surprisingly diverse. He has songs like DON’T LOSE ME, which I must say is my favorite song on the whole project. He is so vulnerable on this track in regards to expressing his love for Mrs. Cardi. In this song he is basically showing love for his wife and acknowledging that he fucked up and embarrassed he and how he is happy she took him back. Speaking of Cardi last song we are going to discuss is CLOUT. They do anything for Clout real talk. “ Swapping out cats with my bitch. I bought her the Lambo, she bought me the Wraith.” Offset goes crazy on this track, but the star of this show is Cardi. From the start of her verse she automatically starts going crazy. I’m not going to say too much about it this Offset time. The maturity and growth Offset displays on this album almost reminds me of 21’s growth, but not on the same level. I have to give the album a 8.3/10 based on the diversity, lyrics, and how personal the project is. Young nigga out of North Atlanta on the come up. Until the next episode. ONE!!

Kehlani | While We Wait:

What’s up everybody we are back with another one . First of all shout out to Kehlani for providing with a much needed appetizer before she release the album.She pops the album off with FOOTSTEPS. I love this track because it gives some much needed insight about the inner workings of a women's mind.” When I walked away I left footsteps in the sand so you can follow me.” Basically meaning she ended a situation ,but she ultimately wanted her “man” to come scoop her and get her back. This song features the homie MUSIQ SOULCHILD , who provides the opposition to what Kehlani is saying. The next song I am going to get into is a top 2 song on the project and of course I have to be talking about NUNYA featuring my dawg DOM KENNEDY. I love the message of this song , because people who have no business asking questions about the shit you have got going on are always the people asking got damn questions. This beat is so smooth and has a feel good vibe to it. Dom comes in and starts going in just a tad bit bananas to add the hip hop element to the song. Now we are we going to get into MORNING GLORY. I had to get into this song because it has a early 2000′s R&B  type of feel. This song is basically saying if you can’t handle me at my worst or my “goodnight” then, you don’t get the opportunity to fuck with me and my Morning Glory, which is a message we all need to hear. My favorite part of this track is when Kehlani comes in starts rapping. The way she comes in the type of beat she is rapping gives the song a TLC type of feel. *Rest In Power Left Eye*. The last song  I am going to get is my favorite track on the project which is RPG featuring the Atlanta bred rapper 6lack. All the features on this project are lit this one is just the best. Now when beat drops you automatically catching the vibes bobbing your head, but you silent because you trying to listen to the song. “ You told me I’m beautiful because I told you don’t tell me enough.” I mess with this song, because in most relationship this is the case. We do not look out for the other person unless they bring up a certain situations . We may know that there is a issue , but we do not take steps to correct the issue or change until the other person brings it up. My dawg 6lack comes in right on cue. “ I don’t want to make you think I,m saying things because you prompted me.” It is something we all battle with in everyday life it is very relatable. Now overall I appreciate Kehlani for gracing us with this little project out to hold us over before she drops her album. I love how relatable  this album is to everyday life. This is a very solid project going to give it a solid 8.1/10 because I know her album is going to come with the real heat. Until the next episode. Happy International Women’s Day. One.

Gunna: Drip or Drown 2 

What’s up yall back with another one for yall. First of all shoutout young Gunna Gunna for providing us with, for what it right now in running for, the album of the year so far. At last the long wait has finally paid off. He pops the tape off wit WIT IT. This track sets the mood for the whole album. Smooth beats and fire lyrics and plus the style and feel of this album is very unique. The next track he follows it up with is OUTSTANDING. As soon as Gunna starts going in you feel every aspect of the song all wrapped into one motion. The lyrics, beat, tempo, just everything is in perfect sync. “ When I made my first million I ain’t panic, I only drink out the seal, I’m done with Zanny’s” That hook goes way too crazy by the time you finished listening to this you out of breath thinking damn this definitely the best song on the album. There is no way it can get better, but the crazy part is that it does. I’m going to go ahead and hop into ONE CALL. I was going to skip it, but fuck it, the song is fire * Kanye Shrugs* This one of the two tracks released before the album was released. So it comes as no surprise he comes with clip loaded ready to bust it on this track. You drop this and be like damn so what’s going to be on the album. Well for starters he has CASH WARS on that little bitty bitch. This is a smooth club banger for yall one time. This the type of song you listen to pregaming for the club hoping they play the song when you push up to the spot. Now we are going to get into one of my favorite songs on the album for sure RICHARD MILLIE PLAIN. “ Days when I blow the brains, counting cash on a private plane, couple M’s I’m sounding strange.” Young Gunna Gunna comes in with the flamethrower with this one. From start to finish he is in another solar system. No lie this really makes you feel like a real life boss. Now it seems like I am going to get into all the songs, but there is just so much heat on this project it is almost tempting to. I’m not going to do that yall have shit to do. The next song we are going to get into is DEREK FISHER, he links with the homie LIL BABY for this one. Anytime you get Gunna and Lil Baby on the same track you know a banger is on the way and they did not disappoint. Now this beat is little different than the others on this particular project its almost like a electronic trap beat, but ultimately it sounds phenomenal . The last and final track we are going to get into is 3 HEADED SNAKE feat my nigga YOUNG THUG aka THUGGER THUGGER. This nigga Thugger comes in hard on the hook. I love the switch up style they use in this song. They take turns destroying the beat. Its like Thugger comes in with a jab and Gunna hits you with an uppercut. This Gunna album definitely exceeded my expectations. So far it is in the running for album of the year until somebody gives me something better. The world class beats are matched by the magic of the lyrics, but most importantly it has  BANGERS! I have to give this album a 9.3/10. There is just no other choice! Until the next episode. One.

ARIANA GRANDE: Thank You, Next

Wassup everybody. I want to start off of course by thanking Ariana for blessings us with another pop ,masterpiece. She pops it off with IMAGINE. It comes in with a smooth beat then a blank board and paint brush, because she starts painting a picture of life with her is like or her perfect situation. Almost like a this could be us, but you playing type of deal. It is a very strong start to the album. She the takes to a place everybody has been in with the next track NEEDY. Basically this song is a self reflection of her flaws, insecurities and unrealistic expectations she sometimes has in relationships. I love this song , because it is so personal. When an artist is not afraid to put themselves out there, it creates a deeper connection with their music.  Now let’s talk about BLOODLINE. It is definitely a switch up from first couple of songs. It is like a pop techno and almost reggaetón type of beat and very very interesting in a good way though. It makes you want to get up dance like irresistible really. I’m trying to fight the urge to get up hit little dougie right now. This is not the type of song that will have you all in your feelings it will get you out of them. Now we going to get into FAKE SMILE. I love this siddity , mysterious type of feel this gives off. Then it changes up on the hook with WELCOME BACK type of feel shoutout Mase. I love the switch now a lot of you may not catch what I mean by switch up it is like this, two things: first thing that changes is her whole attitude, she has a supreme confidents in this track., “ Neck roll with the attitude.” The next thing is the flow it had a real hip-hop but early 2000′s New York hip hop type of feel. I am not going to hit every song in the album, but I am going to talk about a top 2 song on the album which is BAD IDEA. It has a mix of so many sounds that it is electronic, Hip-hop, pop, R&B and Pop. Does it flawlessly. This album evokes a lot of emotion and feeling. From sorrow , to self reflection, to joy, all the way down to fear. My favorite song on the album by far is 7 RINGS. I understand their is a lot of controversy swirling around this song, but honestly I do not give a fuck. “ Wearing a ring but I won’t be no Mrs. all matching diamonds for 6 of my bitches. I rather spoil all my friends with all my riches.” Aye that line goes too crazy. People jock people style all the time. Other artist , male artist, are not really scrutinized for jocking each other style. I refuse to go hard on her for her doing what everybody else does. . I love the vibes this album has . I learned how talented of an artist Ariana is by listening to this album she is very diverse. When I was first listening to this I thought it was going to be overly sappy, but it really rides all the way through. I have to give it a 8.5/ 10 the diversity the personal feel she just really did it an outstanding job. Well until the next episode. One.

FUTURE: The WIZRD

First of all shoutout my nigga Future for blessing us with this slight masterpiece. Future Hendrxx never disappoints. He pops the album off with NEVER STOP. I love how it comes in it’s definitely a feel good track. He talks about his come through the years. Everybody trying to come up.  Next he follows this with some heat with JUMPING OUT THE JET. This is one of the songs he released before the album dropped so you know its got be fuego.” We say its up then its up perfect timing drop the diamond in the cup.” This up-tempo smooth beat with nice bass lines is the type of feel Mr. Hendrxx is known for. Something I do admire about Future is he stays is in his lane for the most part. A lot of artist like to try to experiment to far out their element this is not the case for Future. For me this album does an amazing job combining the sounds form his previous projects FUTURE & HENDRXX. Take a song like TEMPTATION for example. It has a R&B feel straight off of HENDRXX. This the type of sing I want to hear while cruising down the road with the top dropped. But directly after he throws us back in the club with CRUSHED UP. The beat on this joint goes bananas. This track gets you hype REAL quick; automatic head bob action. I love the switch up ability Future displays throughout the album. It’s seamless. I appreciate Future for providing us with the first banger of 2019 this album did not disappoint. Now we got to get to my 2nd favorite track on the album CALL THE CORONER. As soon as this beat drops you know exactly what you getting into with this.” I want live like a drug lord but I want be glorious sometimes I feel like a king pen I’m so victorious.” When you hear this song you are automatically filled with energy. It’s almost like March Madness. *gasp* It’s not March Madness though. Now we going to wrap this Shit up with my favorite track UNICORN PURP. Now when the track list was first released I looked at it and was like yo this song here is going to be my favorite song off this album. Now this track features an ATL Goat and A rising superstar. Of course I'm talking about Thugger and Gunna. Anytime these three get on a track magic is bound to happen. They each get a verse and each go crazy. The magic on the lyrics is matched with the magic on the beat. As soon as Future comes in he automatically starts going crazy. Now Future definitely showed with this project he is here and he is not going anywhere anytime soon. I definitely have to give it 8.7 based on the overall flow track to track, and his variety of vibes he provides for us.  Until the next Episode. One.

21 Savage: I am > I was Review

This album by 21 shows the rappers maturation from a young 21 to the savage Mutherf**er you see before you today. he pops it off with “A lot”. It has a real smooth melody on it and features the smoothest of them all Mr.Jermaine Cole. The thing I really noticed on this album is that his transitions from line to line were clean and not like some of his projects in the past. Then to show you he still has that same savage from the past in him with “Break The Law”.”Me and my dawgs break laws the chopper will hit all of y'all. Yo brother, your gold fish your dawg.” This super saiyan 21 right here. But don’t worry he has something for the lady’s as he features the City Girls on “a&t”. Definitely a fresh club banger for the upcoming New Year. Now his feature list for this album is pretty impressive as well. He has the likes of J. Cole, Childish Gambino, Schoolboy Q, Migos, and City Girls just to name a few. The mix of artist shown shows that he can step out of his comfort zone and excel in other spaces which pretty impressive for him considering where he came from.. He can hit you with a song like “a lot” which is chill sort of vibe to a little party track like “1.5″ Now one of my favorite tracks on the album is “ all my friends “ featuring Post Malone. This is chilling smoking song really chill vibe,” I lost all my friends counting bands in the Bentley Coupe, diamonds on me  doing handstands Rozay on my tooth.” You cannot tell me the hook on that isn’t going crazy. Now, before I go I have to talk to y'all about one more song. “Monster” shout out to Childish Gambino for blessing the track . Another smoother type of beat; this is not something you would expect to find 21 on, and still he effectively kills  the beat. This is showing the evolution of 21, shout out to him for working hard in the studio because it shows in his work. The verdict on this album is y'all should definitely givers this a listen. It’s diverse, fun and spontaneous. I rate 8.6/ 10 i only expect him to go up from here until the next episode . One.

Smoke DZA: Not For Sale - Shoutout Smoke DZA  for finally blessing us with “Not For Sale”. It has been a long time coming he pops off the album with  “The Legacy’. “ My skully game mean pi dropped a 2 and a quarter. Alexander Wang I cop for me and my daughter.” You for sure got to cop one for the daughter. He shows off his mastering of lyricism throught out the album. The next track he blesses with is “ The Mood” the beat goes crazy. Most definitely the best song on the album. This song features my guy Joey Bada$$ and he does not disappoint. The features overall I enjoyed. Like “ The Love “ with Ty Dolla $ who goes crazy on the hook. He also show us his proficiency with  delivery and  presentation of his bars like in “ The Lifestyle”. Overall the album  starts off hard then it starts the decline while listening  especially in the middle of the album then totally lost me at the end. He tried some new things outside of his comfort zone which is not a bad thing, but the album suffered because of it overall I have to give this album a 7.6/10 Until the next episode. One

J. Cole -KOD: Shoutout  Dreamville and Cole for providing us with yet another instant classic. This album has the feel of album released by my other guy Kendrick’s “DAMN”. The reason I say that is because before this Cole blessed us with “ 4 Your Eyes Only” which is much more emotionally involved. He then drops this gem on 4/20 and it is a lot more upbeat and fun. Don’t get it twisted now there is message being delivered you know Cole can’t bless us without educating us. He pops the album off with “KOD” which has a up beat happy feeling.  He starts off talking shit telling niggas to keep his name out his mouth, foreshadowing events to come in another song where he directly addresses it. Then he goes to “Photography” which has a smokers 4/20 type a vibe to it. I love the topic of discussion which is social media romance. Something very relevant today, which is one of the reason Cole will always be hot because he’s always talking about some relevant shit. He’ll have some shit like Photography than hit us with “ATM”. It’s a super fun banger if that make sense.” I don’t want to fall off so I’m all in my bag.” This my vibe all ‘18 . It’s short simple to the point, but at the same time a not concept everybody understand. Now we get to “ Kevin’s Heart” . In this song he talks about the struggles of fighting temptation .” I want to eat my cake and have another cake to. Even if the baker don’t bake it like you. Even if the flavor not the same like you.” This is a struggle everybody go through man or woman on a everyday basis .So again Cole with the relevants for the win. Then he follows that up with “ Brackets”  which is has the undisputed smoothest beat on the while album. He talks about all the damn taxes we pay and we do be paying some damn taxes. He even has skit where “Uncle Sam” gives him a call and takes half of his $1 Million dollar check . Shit crazy after listening to this I feel like SUPER FUCK TAXES. He rounds off the album with my favorite song “ Friends” well let me tell you why be cause it is one of the most important songs on the album because it talks about addiction. On top of that it provides me with my favorite line on the whole album,’ Blame it on the fact every black boy want to PIppen , but they only got 12 spots on the Pistons.” Fuego simply just Fuego. Now he closes out the album with “1985″ where he responds back to “ Lil Pump & $mokepurpp” This song is so funny , because he killing them and educating them at the same time. Basically sonning them young niggas. The beat is perfect for the roasting. Overall this album was pure magic. The lyrics were on 100 and the beats on every song induced and intensified the feelings and emotions evoked by those lyrics. I have to give this album a 9.2/10 and yall should 10000% take the time to hear my guy’s Cole its a banger and the hottest album so far. Until the next Episode. One.

Saba: Care For Me - The rapper out of Chicago follows up the Bucket List with some heat. He kicks off the album with a little smoking music with Busy/ Sirens. From start to finish my guy shows off his gift of storytelling, also his skill as a lyricist. His beats throughout are really chill sippin on some liq, smoking a blunt with the homies type of feel. Now he really turns up for Life. The song is a little more upbeat than the rest if the songs on the album. The thing that really stands that really impresses me about the song is range of different sounds on this song.  Now after hyping us a little bit he brings us back down to Earth with Calligraphy. He is really good at making you invoke a certain type of feeling with each. Calligraphy has upbeat perky hopeful type of feel to it. Little Engine That Could face ass that just the vibe it gives off I love it though *Kanye Shrugs”. Now we follows this with one of my favorite songs on the album Fighters. I fuck with Fighters, because the story he tells is so relatable. “I don’t want to fight no more , because I’m not a fighter.” Which is the case for most people. such a familiar feel, but at the same time we have to fight through certain things everyday he paints that picture exquisitely. I have to get to my favorite song PROM/ KING . Now speaking of storytelling whew, this right here is a movie on tape. This basically a shoutout to his cousin which I love, because it shows he somewhat grounded , and that he never forgot who helped to get him where he is at or where he came from and that's what's up. By the way Chance the rapper has a feature on her on Logout that definitely is worth listening to. Now after listening to this the verdict I give on this guy is a 8.3/10. The lyrics, wordplay,and beats all mesh together perfectly. Definitely recommend taking a listen for yourself nothing but good vibes here. Until the next episode. ONE

SAINt JHN: The Collection: First of all shoutout to SAINt JHN out of Brooklyn, New York . I would have to say he really went crazy on this album. With a wide range of music with creativity on display for days. This shit here is just what a nigga needed for the summertime. This is that vibing on Ocean Dr in Miami type of music. He starts off with The Lust it has a pop type of feel with a Hip-Hop feel taking the backseat. So that’s one end then he will pop off with a track like Surf Club, this song has a different type vibe entirely than The Lust . It feels more like some shit that you would play in the club to get people on to the dance floor type . Then he goes crazy into another fuckin dimension with Reflex, followed by God Bless the Internet (my shit), then Selfish, God Bless The Ratchets and lastly N***a S**t. That whole sequences of songs goes fuego. My favorite song off the whole album would have to be God Bless the Internet! “ She on my dick she knows me from somewhere on TV and she’s seen me on the internet./ I only let her give me brain what can I say damn I love her intellect.” Aye that line there has to be my favorite bar on the whole album he goes crazy in that song . The song makes you feel like a rich nigga watchin the sunset in a Gucci robe, smoking a fat L sippin on that Hennessey White and Pineapple juice. Overall  I 100% loved this album from start to finish  and give this album a 8.2 /10. I feel the artist masterfully shows off his talent and range on his first studio album and everything meshes perfectly. Definitely recommend checking this out. Until the next episode. ONE

My Dear Melancholy by The Weeknd: First of all every single song in the EP went off. Basically all the beats are silky smooth like living lavish type of shit. With that being said the thing I enjoyed  most about the EP was the familiar dark  and sulky undertones The Weeknd is  known for. He stayed within himself , which I love, I understand and am all for artist trying new things, but at the same time I love when an artist gets back to doing what they do best. I do feel him throwing a little shade at his ex young Selena Gomez with songs like Wasted Time and Privileged (which happen to be my favorite two sings on the EP.) Overall I would have to give the vet a solid 8/10 for this one. I would recommend checking it out for yourself it’s really a great listen. Till the next Episode. One.
