Medieval Forever Save File
Hey! So I recently decided to create my own medieval forever save file in the sims 4. Here are some of the "rules" I've made so far (I use the Omegaverse mod BTW):
SIMS TIMING REFERENCE (CHANGE LONG LIFESPAN)
1 sim month = 8 sim days
1 sim season = 14 sim days
1 sim year = 56 sim days
Sim Pregnancy = 42 days
Newborns = 1 month = 8 days
Infant = 11 months = 48 days
Toddler = 4 years (age 1 - 5) = 224 days
Child = 7 years (age 6 - 12) = 392 days
Teen = 6 years (age 13 - 18) = 336 days
YA = 11 years (19 - 30) = 616 days
Adult = 44 years (age 31 - 75) = 2464 days
Elder = 19 years (age 76 - 94) = 1064 days
Total = 4984 days
1 sim day at normal speed = 72 minutes = 1 hour 12 minutes
1 sim (FROM BIRTH TO DEATH) = 5,980.8 hours = 250 IRL days
We will be playing rotationally with aging on. Each rotation should last 7 - 14 sim days.
TAXES RULES
Nobles pay 5% of their weekly income to the royal family
Merchants pay 40% of their weekly income to the royal family, with 10% of that 40% going to the noble families (equally divided)
Normal households pay 60% of their weekly income to the royal family, with 20% of it going to the noble families (equally divided)
PREGNANCY / WOOHOO RULES
Use Pandasama’s realistic childbirth mod to give birth.
Give birth at home, (Merchants and Normal Households give birth on beds while Nobles and Royals give birth in the birthing pool).
You must never woohoo with protection.
Must woohoo with partner at least every 7 days to maintain the satisfaction level at satisfied.
FREEDOM RULES
Normal Households pay 100k simoleons to gain freedom.
Merchants Households pay 50k simoleons to gain freedom.
Free Households are the only ones allowed to purchase estates.
The freedom ‘tax’ is paid in full to the royal family.
LAWS OPTIONS AND ROLLS
*Roll for 3 different laws to be implemented every 10 years.

Witchcraft ban: Anyone caught practicing will be trailed (exile, death or innocent).
Holy days: Sims cannot work on Sundays.
The Plague Law: Any sick sim must be quarantined.
Trial by Dance: Disputes and trials must be settled though a dance off instead of a dice roll.

Dynasty Alliances: Marriages are arranged by class and by secondary gender.
Soulmates: Fated Mates take priority in marriage decisions. If one is already married, the pair may still bond and mate without any repercussions for the other SO (they will not get jealous).

Surrogate Tradition: Infertile Omegas (male & female) and betas (females) raise heirs for royal or noble families.
