Hi everyone

Sulala Animal Rescue is an animal rescue group based in Gaza. Despite the ongoing genocide in Gaza, they’re still working hard to care for their animals and are also rescuing animals that have been affected by the bombings (such as animals found under the rubble, animals that may have been displaced, animals that have been injured, etc.). they’re providing these animals with shelter, food/water, and medical care but given the circumstances, they need international support. They’re asking for d0nati0ns, for assistance in getting large animal rights organizations to call for a ceasefire, and for support in getting animal feed onto the aid trucks. If anyone is able to help, i am linking their info down below. Also, if anyone knows of other animal rights organizations that are helping animals in Gaza, please let me know. So far I haven’t been able to find much else.

#im still vetting the other animal rights groups ive found.#also one of the first things i found in my research was an article written literally on oct 6 2023 😶#and it was about how israeli animal rights groups campaigned to ban donkeys from being imported to palestine #apparently they’re claiming that the donkeys were getting abused and overworked by gazans #and also that the donkeys were being sold for the chinese meat industry 😶#according to one gazan some donkeys are overworked but it’s not the case for all the donkeys #and according to another gazan- they would never sell the donkeys to china as they’re too valuable to them #and it all comes down to israel just finding reasons to control palestinian ppl like the whole reason donkeys are so important is bc of #the ban on other products and tools to palestine :///#ofc white vegans would use ‘animal welfare’ as an excuse to control the palestinian population #anyways #this is all so messed up. i keep reading and seeing videos of ppl rescuing animals despite the horrors around them #and im not comparing tragedies but it’s so sad on top of everything to realize how many cats and dogs and donkeys etc #are in pain and confused and scared and alone. like this is incomprehensible to us but they can’t even talk #also sorry for censoring words but ive heard that tumblr blocks posts bc of certain keywords #palestine #free palestine #gaza #free gaza #my post 🔮
