I’ve found that jealousy is an unhealthy emotion, I mean obviously, but in the sense that if you want to compare yourself to somebody or try to be better than somebody, it’s kind of like apples and oranges and the only way you can come with a normal frame of reference is to compare yourself to yourself, and then use other people as inspiration. Because if you’re constantly comparing yourself to other people, then you’re never going to reach that point because everybody’s different. There’s something there that could never be grasped by you because of their uniqueness as a person. So, if you’re just like, ‘alright, what can I do with what I have right now to step it up?’, then that’s more healthy.
