damon:
“apologies. i didn’t think there was anyone else here.” and he’d thought she was someone else, but now he could plainly see her dark hair wasn’t the same as that he’d been looking for, and her features were… he had no idea. vaguely northern, he supposed. all that damon knew of the smaller northern houses had been gained through maesters and word of mouth; he’d seen them in the flesh, of course, but rarely. he was curious, as he always was when he encountered some foreigner loyal to some other house. “i don’t think we’ve been introduced.”
Her raven black curls fell over her shoulders haphazardly, and dark eyes quickly looked over the man before her. She’d never seen him before, in either the Riverlands or the North. She assumed he was from somewhere else, no higher than the Neck though. “I was rather quiet...” Meera shrugged, getting up to her feet and brushing off her gown. “Lady Meera, recently of house Umber. A pleasure, my lord.” She gave a proper curtsy and a kind smile.
