Hello! Welcome to Old Navy!
Incredibly strange piece of Meet Dave lore we found earlier today that pretty much triggered the interest in opening a blog.
MD had extremely weird marketing, evident by the Giant Eddie Murphy Head that we will get to one day. This is the Meet Dave Active Simulators truck.
Active Simulators seems to be a European based traveling motion simulator company. The website is pretty baron for information, and poking around the rest of the site doesn't really reveal what "Ride the Meet Dave simulator" would entail.
We assume that since the Meet Dave Simulator was a promotional stunt, it probably wouldn't've showed anything that was too much of a spoiler. It's likely that it would've simulated something like Dave falling onto Liberty Island from space as seen in the first few minutes of the film. Apart from this, I wasn't able to find much else about Active Simulators or the Meet Dave Simulator.
Apart from this, there are a few other things in the promotion image of the simulator, like the table with Meet Dave Swag Bags and a small sad replica of the Eddie Murphy head statue. I assume people were supposed to stand inside and lean out to look like the poster image with the crewmates leaning out of his ear.
We would love to get our hands on one of those Meet Dave swag bags... who knows what treasures could lay within. The "RIDE THE MEET DAVE SIMULATOR FOR FREE" sign is also very badass.
I'm half-tempted to send Active Simulator an email with questions but we're not sure if it's appropriate to contact a small company with dumb questions about a movie nobody cares about anymore.

Hello! Welcome to Old Navy!
Meet Dave is a film from 2008, to most it was blockbuster flop... but to us... to us daveheads, this was one of the best films ever created.
After seeing the url meetdave was available, we knew we had to jump on the opportunity and create a fanblog to spread information on random titbits I've collected on one of our generation's greatest films.
