One nutty (but cool!) tin toy
This tentacular typewriter is the work of Oakland-based artist Courtney Brown. Entitled Self Organization, it’s made of a 1938 Underwood typewriter and sculpted bronze tentacles. Brown won first prize for this awesome sculpture at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art’s annual California Sculpture SLAM, where it will remain on exhibit through November 15, 2015.
Visit Courtney Brown’s website to check out more of her fascinating creations.

Barnabas Vampire Van (MPC, 1970)
