Winter is coming ❄️ The AW15 fashion shows brought in some lovely beauty looks @laurie.learmont is rocking the rebelliously worn eyeliner which is probably the easiest and at the same time effective look to recreate. Use a lighter shade of foundation than you normally use to give your skin a pale look and apply lots of dark eyeliner along the upper and lower lash line. Loving the the decor (and the food obvs) of the new #Brazilian restaurant in #Manchester called @cabanabrasil Most of the furnishing comes from Brazilian communities and charities such as #ReciclaJeans, a #favela project in #Paraisopolis, which makes the fabric for Cabana’s seats from recycled denim. This is the bar seating area and the seating is made of old oil drums🍃 #cabanabrasil #food #brazil (at Cabana)

Meet Mi......

I am Mimi, I was born and bred in Brazil, but have been living in England since 2006. Apart from the constant rain in Manchester, I LOVE it here!

I love:

sale finds (especially car boot ones)

eating in quirky restaurants

people with a good sense of humour

going out to gigs and dancing

Lots of my friends in Brazil ask me about my experiences in the UK and people over here always seem interested to know my thoughts and take on the British culture.

So, the idea here is to write a blog on what goes on in my life in the UK. They include:

Not so interesting facts I was born in 1987 (I think that makes me 26?), I graduated in International Business in Leeds and work in Manchester as a corporate tax advisor. I know you are reading this and are probably thinking, oh no she is a massive geek!!! Fool yourself not… I literally have no idea how I ended up doing this!
